not sorcs need nerf, absorb shields do.

@DenMoria you like those poll options? seem kinda ... what would you call them?

I'd call it a BS strawman poll. "Nerf sorc" memes have been around since the beginning of this game.
OP is new around these parts and has mistakenly interpreted this as proof of some hypothetical nerfstorm for sorcs. Then he made a poll about this, and led it off with his assumption, presenting it as fact.
Strawman poll.
shields are ridiculously high and as sorc i heal either with resto staff or the pet, in PVE i don't even use shields. More over it, you can stack them with the class shields and it gets ridiculously high. It's stupid to be on full offensive and full defensive at the same time, like sorcs do.

Not exactly my intent... but good try I guess.

You don't do Trials then. If you're not having to shield in PvE, you're not doing the hard stuff. Sorcs have had shields nerfed time and again, and each time it's been because of PvP.
Nobody double stacks shields, its a waste of resources. Every mag class has access to Annulment, and every non-sorc class uses it.
Sorcs get a stronger version of that shield because that's part of their class identity. They are supposed to have slightly higher defenses in exchange for slightly lower damage output. That's how the devs wanted sorcs to be.
There is a reason sorcs haven't been BiS in mag DPS for a long time. If you want top tier DPS, you go magblade these days.
Both you and OP seem to be new here, so maybe you don't know that.

Intentions are moot. You led off a poll with an assumption and/or inference you made, both of which are incorrect.
If the premise is flawed, so is the poll.

heres the thing if i can stack a shield on top of me(pet sorc btw) and i can hit almost a 30k shield on top of my already 18k health. yea shields need a nerf to reduce the maximum to say 10-15k because their litterally overpowered. again if i can live through something as a dps that only a tank should live through there is something wrong and makes the ability broken. so your whole point is flawed cause he may not pve but even some of us in pve think its broken and should be fixed.

So, how is it an assumption when Zos already nerfed rune cage on the first iteration of the pts?

A bad player will blame literally anything on their failure besides themselves. I had one guy in my group a few days ago complain that "rocks were OP because kiting on them was unfair - rocks shouldn't be climbable". ZoS could nerf Sorcerers and every proc set in the game, but the blame would simply shift to something else. Children never take responsibility for their failure and learn from it. They expect to be catered to and as such, never improve themselves as a result which perpetuates the cycle when something new is added to the game.

Yup. I was right, a Magden. And complaining about that.Vercingetorix wrote: »Biased poll. Where's the "There is no issue with Sorcerers - just children that don't like losing in a video game" option?

I would guess you don't play a sorcerer.
