Know what one of the dumbest features in PVP right now is in my opinion?

    Problem is if you make it take longer to take a keep it works to the alliance with the most populations favor as it gives more time for the zerg to arrive to crush the small group.
    Fix population balance first.
    I would be fine with the guards generating a pre flag alert although that could be trolled by one player.
    Rams are maybe slightly overtuned.

    Id argue it benefits the Heavy Population alliance more..they can afford to send more groups out that can Burst a keep then a small population alliance that has to stack to defend one keep.

    Branch out the AvA into more skill lines to support particular role-types or strategies could be a thing. Right now it's Assault and Support, but it could also be something thematically (if not actually named as) "Sieger", "Ganker/Hunter", "Defender", "(Crowd) Controller". The passives would boost the appropriate things but also work on a bane/boon system, so gankers can still do their big hits but have other drawbacks for balance. Siegers could have passives or active abilities not only to boost their own resistance/bonus to damage with siege but also to a few nearby allies. Etc. It could be switchable like class spec talent trees in WoW -- change them back at the base without having to invest skill points in or get all of the buffs and abilities from all AvA skill lines at once. If you just want to do small-group fights go ahead, this gives more strategy. If you want to actually focus on AvA, it gives everyone a chance for a role they can do other than just blob around with AoE/proc damage and AOE/proc heals.

    Allowing for tougher guards and walls and coordinated gameplay etc.

    Plus, whatever else I've posted over the years about making AvA more strategic and competitive. *waves hand vaguely toward a post or twelve over that way*

    Maybe just reinstate being able to repair walls if they were above 90% damage. Causes a delay in keeps flagging and prevents some resource tower flagging.

    Used to be a great tactic against unco-ordinated sieges but ZoS scrapped it for some reason.

    No, that was abused way too much.

    Abused? Nah- as part of how the game was played it was valid tactic to keep smaller groups able to hold off much larger ones while defending. Provided they had a tiny bit of understanding of the game. The continued dumbing down of the game now has people making recommendations to make things they don't do anyways more difficult so others can not do them. Personally if you make a recommendation I figure you should be required to link the number of solo resource takes you have first, number of keep takes linked first- then tell the population how you think things should be adjusted. Otherwise its just reading like you are upset others can do things and imploring ZOS to make them tougher so you are not interrupted in the ERP session in Cyro you typically run.

    Don't trip dude. Just come play on Xbox NA in Vivec for DC. Only 1 out of every 20 players actually puts down any siege. The rest just play in the oils while light attacking the d-ring and yelling at the healers for not keeping them alive.

    Last week on xbox vivic, it seemed every blue door we knocked down, we were greeted by an exponentially growing # of blues. 10, 1st door , 20, 2nd door. Got to the point we believed every blue on the server was coordinating to be behind what ever door we tried to knock down.

    That's pretty much the only option we had left after being stomped into the dirt by 50-60 EP every time we so much as farted outside of our home bases. We were just huddled together for comfort, awaiting the next red herd and the next freeze(s).
