There should be a "both" option added too. Just to cover all sides.

If u can adapt there is always a meta. There will always be change. No reason to quit just slot some thing else and carry on.

I am winding down, looking at other games...but not because of the patch notes. Simply because they are too incompetent at fixing the screen freeze issue in Cyrodiil. There is absolutely no reason that this should have happened again and even worse that it's still not fixed.

Oh, woe is us. We should have all voted yes. Now ZOS knows they can break anything and still not lose a significant number of players.

Egadz, they already knew, didn't they?

If the poll question was, "Are you leaving because of the condition of Cyrodiil?", I think the response would have been different.

    Other:

I plan to leave the game not because of Wolfhunter patch notes, but because of what happened with this game in last years.

    - It's slowly turning into asian F2P game - huge focus on cash shop (more weird flashy mounts every season, ads pop up)
    - Little focus on gameplay (terrible class and item balance, nerfing everything to the ground won't fix anything)
    - Ignoring player feedback and reported bugs for months / years
    - More and more grind with every new patch (Welkynar motifs grind incoming)
    - No fix for lag in Cyrodiil since 4 years

    and so on...

Nope. There's only one reason that will cause me to leave ESO. When it's no longer "fun" to play.

If things didn't change and I wasn't forced to learn new play styles or adjust current builds I would get bored of this game very quickly. I like that the game shakes things up every once in a while and forces me from my comfort zone.

Don't be ridiculous. There's free skyshards all this week.
Gotta get 'em now before I hop back on the CU and BFA betas.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

Pff. I mained a Hunter in WoW from vanilla through Cataclysm. I had the most OP class, then I had the most unwanted class, then I had the noob class, then I had the meta class, then I had the most unwanted class, then....

You get the picture. Seriously, it's an MMO. Stuff changes. Sometimes a lot. Your precious skill/set/class/rotation is not guaranteed to still be superawesomeamazing six months from now. And then it might be right back on top another six months after that. Or not. Deal with it.

Heck, ya'll are spoiled over here. It's not like you have to re-grind all your gear with every new expansion because the level cap increased.

Nothing is written in stone at this point, but this is what I said in the other thread before it was locked:
If playing a NB is anything like it was when the game is released, I am done with this game.

Until then, it's grind grind grind.

There are so many unfixed problems from last patch that I have zero patience to stick around for new ones . Cyrodiil has been for the majority of time unplayable for me . You guys have fun . I'll check back after a much needed break .

I choose yes, but not really because of the patch notes, more the lack of them not mentioning pvp fixes in them

    I couldn't agree more.

Moreover, I'm pretty certain that if no such changes had taken place at all over the last 4 years then the number of players moving on because they felt the game had become stale and had failed to evolve would massively exceed the number who currently complain whenever the slightest change is made to their character(s).

I'm considering it. It's not because of these patch notes specifically. My decision is based on many patches not addressing highly voiced issues. ZoS has a series of long silences followed by excuses, followed by broken promises, followed by more long silences. I don't want new content - I want the already existing content to actually WORK. Fix what's already out, THEN you can worry about adding new stuff. This is a game with lots of potential and its own developers seem to be actively sabotaging it with their behavior.

The fact that an entire class (a paid one no less) can still not even be looked at for comprehensive changes for OVER A YEAR speaks volumes of where ZoS' priorities lie. I'm not holding my breath for this patch and frankly, there's a hefty list of games coming in the fall and later next spring that will put the hurt on ESO population if ZoS continues to abuse its player base.

You realize that most "voiced" issues are just people whining that they're not getting all the candy, yes?

Complaining about FPS and/or PvP drops is perfectly justifiable, but this constant whining about nerf this, nerf that, buff this, buff that just 'cause I'm not winning is the issue.

90% of the population of the game doesn't seem to be having issues with most of it (or at least, a few bugs are easy to deal with). We're a tiny fraction of the player base. We're just loud.

    oh look... things are changing!

    like that never happened before.

also, why doesn't this poll have an 'other' option?

You're either leaving or you're not. What would "other" be in this situation? Your arms are leaving to play another game but the rest of your body remains?

it is my considered opinion that all polls should have an other option.

i may stop playing tomorrow, but it won't be because of the patch notes it will be because i found something else that i'd rather do.

If you're thinking of leaving for any reason other than the patch notes, then your answer is no. It's covered by the phrasing of the question. "Are you leaving or plan to leave ESO because of the patch notes?"

What about the players who haven't yet made up their mind? There is always a third option between "Yes" and "No", even if it's only "Maybe".

    Hello everyone,

This post is to inform you that we've gone ahead and closed this thread. The reason being that it does not seem to have a constructive topic to discuss. For further topics we suggest avoiding topics on quitting the game, as it does not lead well for a discussion and is against the Forum Rules. For dicussion on the latest PTS Patch Notes please feel free to do so in the PTS section of the forums.
