Ive not had any issues in PvP. xbox one eu server. Maybe its actually just some people's own connection and signal strength
Buy better computer, then go to pvp

The same exact problems are occurring just as frequently on the PvE side as they are on the PvP side.
They're game-wide issues.

I'm sorry, really not an attempt to bait. I play both pve and pvp avidly, around 50/50 and no, no, not at all. Not even remotely. Pvp hard freezes and requires a total game restart every 5 to 10 minutes right now, and that is not an exaggeration. We had weeks a month or so ago where ABSOLUTELY EVERY load screen was infinite, I know at the same time pve had some long load screens, but not EVERY single one. I was doing pve instead of pvp because of the load screen issue. In pve it was not constant, just occasional. Now I'm doing pve instead of the pvp because the hard freezes do not even exist for me, just stutters and short freezes, maybe a disconnect here n there. I've heard some people say they've had them in pve, but I've been doing steady trials and dungeons with Zero hard freezes in pve since summerset, then walk into pvp and hard freeze first thing. The two issues are not even relative at this point.

Agreed. I also spend a roughly equal amount of time PVPing and PVEing. There was occasional PVE freezing after Summerset first dropped, but that stopped after the servers died down a bit. Now, the worst you'll experience in PVE is low FPS when porting into certain locations or completing certain trials. The frequent game-breaking freezing is occurring in PVP and PVP alone. No one is posting videos of the problem occurring in trials, which leads me to believe that if it IS happening, it's nowhere near as frequent an issue as it is in PVP. I've been documenting the problems in PVE and PVP on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjm0QOf_LTLhgXM-vNDf1NQ As you can see, @Uriel_Nocturne , PVP has it much worse.

Agreed, I do both as well but far more PvP.
Shoot I've frozen in back to back relogs, more than once. Freeze...close app...get back in....still in the middle of the same battle...freeze almost instantly again...
It's horrible. I'm afraid to engage anymore.

Xbox One NA server
Game has been freezing with hard crashes that corrupt the game clients ability to find the servers when trying to log in after a crash. The game will hit a loading screen, or will freeze mid action, and the game will not recover from that.
I still have to completely close out of the game client, the "quit" the game from the Xbox dashboard, then let it sit untouched for 10-30 seconds before I can fire up the client again to try to get back in.
This has been happening since the game update that arrived about 3 weeks before Summerset released, and even after you disabled that certain feature, the game crashes and freezing have not decreased in any measurable manner.
I also dont ever PvP, so everything listed above is happening in the open world, delves, public dungeons, group dungeons, and towns and other public gathering places.
I use a 2Tb external drive, so that ESO is the only game actually on my Xbox HDD. I have the 1Gb Google fiber wired in with an ethernet cable, so my internet/connection isnt the issue.
The issues still happen at all times of the day/night, so it's not just limited to "peak" times.
While I know all of this is well known to you, the staff at Zeni, and the game populace; as per your request, this is my experience with it, and it has remained unchanged since he hat fix on June 28.
And an update @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert
I posted the quoted message last night as I was trying to log into ESO.
I tried (because I'm a really patient kinda guy) to log in no less than eight (8) times to no avail.
I'm used to the game letting me in, letting me play for 5-15 minutes, then suffering the aforementioned severe lag spikes/loading screens that end in the game crashing to the title screen. I'm used to "Press A to Play", only to have the game take so long to load up (due to this ongoing issue), that it kicks me back out to the title screen with an error message telling me either:
1) "Game could not contact the servers. Please make sure that you have a valid internet connection." (I do have valid internet. As we know, my internet isn't the issue, but this is the message I get.)
2) "Error: User logged out due to inactivity." Which is laughable as I didn't even get to log in in the first place.
But as of last night, ESO wouldn't even let me log in at all.
I would press A to play, I'd get to the character select screen, then once I selected my desired character, the game would not ever move past the "Requesting Character Load" screen. It would, quite literally at one point, just sit there "requesting character load" for 5, 10, and the final straw was a 15 minute stretch without ever loading in my character (which was the 15 minute period where I wrote the above quoted post). Eventually, the game crashes to either the title screen or the Xbox dashboard, it's really quite random when choosing which crash to give me, but it's always one of those two options.
And this happened eight-plus (8+) times last night. Or at least, it happened those times that the game client would even -MAKE IT- to the Character Select Screen.
The end result: I got zero time in ESO last night. I couldn't even play for the normal 5-15 minutes before the game usually lags/freezes/fatal-load-screen, and kicks me out to the title screen. The game client wouldn't let me into the game for even the shortest amount of time at all.
So as an update, the issues seem to be getting worse. Before the temporary fix, I could at least log in to check on my Guilds, retrieve hireling mail, and wander for a minute or two.
But now, as of last night, the ESO game client simply will not let me log into the game at all. The furthest the game gets is "Requesting Character Load", and it never goes any farther than that.

Yep, let's just ignore the mountains of video evidence (not to mention the pinned thread at the top of the page recognizing the issue) that's already been provided on the forums alone. This is a major issue and it's affecting everyone. To pretend otherwise is absurd at this point.

Mountains of video evidence that people play the game with *** computers maybe? It's all anecdotal til the evidence is backed up by specs for each machine.
It’s pointless to poll about this because even if it could work, they won’t do it. As others have suggested the issue is likely not with their servers but with the coding. They’re not going to rebuild their game from the ground up. And anyway, we will never know what the problem(s) really is. We can call for server shutdowns, code fixes, whatever. Whether they just can’t or won’t fix it, it’s clear that no real steps are being made, and the outcome for the player is the same. Honestly? I bet they decided long ago to just ride it out until the death of the game. As long as it makes money, and it clearly still is, the pattern of fixes, or lack thereof, will continue. Look at the last three years, see how they take 6-12 months to implement changes and then screw it up because they’ve once again over nerfed or buffed and then we wait another 6-12 months for a repeat. Meanwhile the games overall functionality degrades a little more with each major patch as they add more and more to a game that clearly cant handle what is already available. So if you ask me it’s obvious that their plan is simply to keep adding content and making money, doing the minimum in terms of fixes, and riding out the storm of angry players. The forums probably exist more as a way to make players feel like they’re being heard than as a place to participate in change.
