Recent patch changed malevolent offering and bolstering darkness more useful for NB healer.
I think malevolent offering became poweful burst heal, made nb healer more poweful than ever.
The only problem is nb healer still don't have resource surpport skill and cleansing skill.

So what's your thoughts? Is Nb healer became more viable than ever? or need more buff to use on vet trials?

Nightblade Healer has been excellent for a time now, long before Malevolent Offering and Bolstering Darkness were a thing.

Malevolent Offering is a thing of beauty and I never remove it when I PUG dungeons because people love to stand in stupid and it makes my life so much easier.

Bolstering change is nice but only when people actually decide to run to the circle for it, but PUGS never do because it clearly has a built in Fear effect with the way everyone runs away from it like its the Plague. I'll stick with Soul Siphon now that it can reach Mr. Snipe Spammer on the opposite side of the team, standing by the Lava Pools in Bloodroot Forge and bleeding like a pregnant cow because HE CAN'T F****** MOVE 3 FEET TO THE LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't need a NB heal, when you can ask for all dps to be magNB and use funnel. It's pretty much a requierement in engame (Vas, Vcr for example ), you can even run a dungeon with 1 tank + 1 mag NB + 1 mag sorc + 1 templar stamina, the templar and the sorc don't even need to slot a self-heal as long as the NB use funnel.

All healers are viable (have been for a while). Templars are still optimal.

Orbs give resources back to allies. You have option to use purge from alliance war too. Nightblades have best dps as healers, nice ultimate generation, major valitity, impressive defensive ultimate. Long ago, they were 2nd most popular healer for dungeons.

On my magplar i use shards and BoL and sometimes ritual of ret (depending on the dungeon). Any other heal comes from resto staff tree.

Shards can be interchanged with by orbs
Ritual of ret can be interchanged with by blood ritual
And every class has some kind of class healing spell to compare to BoL.

I wouldn't doubt that nightblades probably make better healers but why would you take the unquestioned strongest dps class and use them as the least needed position (healer)?

Because I like to play as healer ;)

I agree with this. Yeah, templars are still better, but Nightblades are good to and have their own niche.
I like to have some dps and good ultimate as a healer.
The new malevolent offering is amazing

NB healers are very very viable. Have pretty much always been.

My NB healer hasn't changed since update 13, and i can do pretty much anything i want. Can do even smallscale PvP with this, as it has nice strong shields and lot of HoT, while dealing damage.

    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

Nightblade-Hipster. I played Nightblade before it was cool - from 1.5 onwards.

    Optimal is boring.

Aside from that I've always enjoyed NB healing and it's gotten even better thanks thanks to the Offering change.

He has this build “Illusion” that I think is pretty cool, myself.
