Probably because it takes the brains of a rock to do melee while it takes finesse to use magicka.Obviously Zos has some fetish with magic users.. Even their trailers have the mages as super overpowered gods compared to melee..
No idea why Zos cannot just balance the physical to the magicka users but they don't seem to want to.
At least look on the bright side wardens are weak at both..
Stamina requires brains to survive in while mag just needs to pop wards
I think it's easier to survive on stam. Your defense (deadly cloak) is in your rotation while mag needs to reactively use their defense (shield).
Many stam dps builds are dropping blade cloak due to advancing yokeda and back bar uptime
Not everyone wants to wear a dress and wave a stick in trials and if your stam domination argument is true, not everyone wants to wear plate and swing an axe or 2 around[/quote]

Weapon Crit and Power Potion > Spell Power Potion
Take away maelstrom weapons, trial sets and costly alchemy ingredients and is PVE still balanced? People new to the game and filthy casuals may as well go with magicka.
What are talking about?? None of that made much sense. Both are equal in "cost". Spell power pots cost lile 2x more then weapon power pots, which makes up for the fact that you also should run double health damage posions as stam. That being said i do usually recommend mag for new players (usually sorc) because they are easier to play, though have lower damage then stam. Nightblades are usually seen as the outlier in this situation, but stamblades are still doing more damage then magblades. What really matters is that trial mechanics are pushing away stam classes because of mechanics.
