this whole last week on Xbox it seems like most games there are 5-8 sorcs. I've been on a ton of teams where I am the only non-sorc.

it's getting pretty annoying lol. We need some diversity up in here.

I've been a magsorc since console launch. It's my main and will continue to be so, even during the worst of nerfs.

So, no! I'm not switching :wink:

    Changes from patch to patch.

That’s why I usually have 4 different PvP characters, you never know what the next meta will be.

    StamWarden, StamBlade, MagSorc, and MagBlade,

I can say with absolute certainty that regardless of the patch Stamblades are everywhere

Yeah pretty much. Including my team (I solo queue) there's usually 4-8 per match. It's always an easy win when I have at least 2 on my team lol.

You should see low levels its like everyone is a mage type of some sort.. Sooner or later everyone realises stam is bad and respecs... At least in pve.

Nightblades are a close second though. On average I see 2-4 per match including my team. Although to be fair the Nightblades I see are a healthy mix of magblades and stamblades whereas sorcs are almost exclusively magsorcs.

Well no surprise there. The game literally recommends everyone to play magicka if you're new since it's the easier way to play.

You will always see Mag Sorcs because it is very easy to play so PvP has been like that since launch. They are not op just very good at killing bad players or players who don’t know mechanics. I see many more Stamblades in BGs personally compared to Mag Sorcs. Both are easy to kill so I have no complaints. Until I meet a Sloadknight...

This is a case of self fulfilling prophecy.

The more "sorcs are OP, NERF!!111" threads are created, the more baddies - who only and always lose - shall play a sorc with the illusion they'll magically become good.

Worst of sorc nerfs? No such thing ever

I'm not saying sorcs have been nerfed into the ground or anything, but we've been hit with some pretty substantial nerfs in the past. Why do you think shields only last 6 seconds and ultimate cap is 500 instead of 1000.

We may not have been hit as hard as some classes have in the past, but we also had a period where if you were a magsorc in trials you got kicked. Magsorc has not always been on top like people think and we have hit just as many lows as every body else.

I could be here all night complaining about nightblades, dragonknights, wardens, templars and their OP'ness.

So many nightblades kill you in 2 seconds flat if they proc and if not immediately return to stealth.

So many dragonknights do some insane damage whilst remaining extremely tanky.

So many wardens dish out good damage with sustain and heals, making them tanky.

So many templars do good damage while healing themselves and the team, cleansing debuffs and maintaining pressure.

Just saying, I've seen every class do well in bg's and several of each class that no matter what my team and I did, we could not kill some of them.

Don't even get me started on how OP stamina is compared to magic in PvP.... If you think otherwise, you've been fighting people who don't know how to play a stamina toon.

Stamina is much less forgiving and much harder to play than Magicka. Being able to hit harder doesn’t necessarily mean op... Both have situations where they are better than the other.

PS4 EU cyrodiil is a joke.

Mag sorcs everywhere and in groups too. You'll see a group of 6 people all mag sorc.

Also similar for stamina warden which just has a ridiculous amount of surivability atm

I feel like it's almost time for a COMPLETE CLASS REVAMP/REBALANCE.

And that includes everyone, not just sorcs.

Take all of the classes, Ctrl+A, Delete everything. Start over. Use PTS week to week to test.

Nothing good will come out of the current state of the game, if devs keep killing diversity like this. Period.

That or separate pve from pvp and balance separately.

ZOS just inadvertently over buffed them between staves counting as two pieces, heavy and light attack buffs on destro and the rune cage over buff. I remember saying that magicka was gonna benefit way more from the 2h wpns counting as 2 pieces than Stam would.

Lol just no. Curse>Endless Fury>Meteor>Rune Cage>Frag kills any and all medium armor builds 100% of the time on a good build. And this is coming from a mag sorc main.

Killing a sorc isn't so bad but i do think its BS that they have the best execute in the game. The hardest part about finishing a kill is getting off that execute before they heal out of execute range. Mages Wrath/endless fury takes one of the most important factors of a fight completely out of the equation.
