Do these gauntlets have any special effects that match their type (fire, frost, lightening)?

    I got these in my free summerset update crate, and they don't appear to have any noticeable effects that I have seen. I might be wrong, maybe I missed something.

    No special effects? That's too bad. I can't imaging spending 100 gems for them with no effects.

    I was surprised they valued them at 100 gems. 40 gems seems far more appropriate.

    I'd spend 400 gems if they could be used instead of the relevant staff type. Sod this dual wands meta rubbish

    You can dye the body of the gloves , but not the highlight colour WHICH THEY GOT WRONG !

    The Fire gloves have flames - Red / orange / yellow - All normal

    The Lightning and Frost have BLUE highlights - Frost and Lightning are depicted throughout the game as WHITE

    Wrong colour and no glow or animation makes these a very lazy addition to the game, as they are the same as the ones i got for free as a quest reward in Summerset

    If that were the case, they would be worth 100 Gems a piece, but to lock that feature behind Crown Crates, and gems would cause fury.

    i really expected them to have special effects, like for the fire ones to have an extra big glow to the red when any fire spell is cast, or something like that. i thought i was going to collect all 3. i'm glad i waited to make sure first. they're just gloves; they don't do anything dro'mathra or hollowjack don't do. i'm not usually a complainer, but i made a mistake getting my hopes up about these.

    I have to agree with most people... it was a serious disappointment that they don't offer any unique elemental animation. On the plus side, they do seem to dye well.

    What quest is it? I wanted to get them when I heard of them being in the crates because I thought they would have a special effect like the shadowrend and llambris styles. The gauntlets should be no more than the motifs they currently have for like 25?

    And that is one ugly outfit. I got them too, but I won't use 'em 'cause the rest of the outfit is so bad. It's about how you look, not what you can do, after all.

    They're straight garbage.. Now the illambris, kena, and shadowrend weapons... Well thats another story.

    No animated effects, and they're almost identical to the one you get when you do the Summerset quests. :/ :'(
