Am I wrong it's for US players only? Just saw someone mentioned it will be on at 2:30 am UK time today - so all hard working EU subscribers will be in deep sleep.

It's a Livestream from E3 in Los Angeles. While I dislike the time as well (3:30 am for me), it's understandable that it doesn't take place at a different time.

A big company like this should be able to sort it out somehow, considering they have both EU and US community.
3:30 am also for me, so no way I'll be online. Maybe the twitch will be repeated later for EU players? Giving us an equal chance for the drops?

Oh it's worth staying up for. I have the white wolf mount and I love it. The riding animation is great, the saddle bags are nice and slim so I leave them showing and he makes a wolf sound when I jump off high rocks and land.

    One of my favorite mounts.

Yeah and the instructions seem... Finnicky? Everybody I spoke with isn't sure on how to interpret them, especially as the translated version of the article uses some really confusing terms.

First, I linked the accounts as required, so this is done.

Now the question is: is the twitch drop assured or is it a chance? And also, you obtain it only through watching the stream or do you also need to interact with their extension (polls etc.)? I read that leaderboards don't count for the drops, and that's fine, but nowhere is mentioned whether I also need to actively use the extension to be eligible for the drop

My understanding is that if you have to watch the stream and use the extension. You don't have to do the polls or the other things. But you have to have turned it on while watching the stream.

Personally, I am going to try what the extension offers just for the heck of it.

Oh well, it's just a bunch of gambling crates and a wolf I already have. Not a big loss.

It's not even 'gambling crates' it's just free gems tbh, and not that many of them too.

Per a post I found on Reddit. Streams that use the extention will have a little puzzle piece on the bottom right of the screen. You may have to grant it access.

    Not yet.

It's scheduled for 6:30pm PDT (since E3 is being held in Los Angeles, the stream is originally listed by U.S. Pacific Time) today (Sunday, June 10th).

It's nowhere stated how long you have to use/access the extension, isn't it? So in theory, just have it turned on a few minutes and you're good?

Really, some answers from ZOS here would be great. There are many details not really clear and all we can do is speculate.

There is confusion regarding the instructions....

    https://bethesda.net/en/article/3K92m0xeUMyqKEuQ8sUqSw/announcing-our-be3-twitch-extension?utm_medium=bitly&utm_source=SocialMedia

If I understand this process correctly (which I mostly learned from Reddit):

    1) Make sure both Bethesda, and ESO, accounts are linked to Twitch account.

    2) During the Bethesda stream... There should be a "puzzle piece" icon at the lower-right corner of the screen. Click that, and it will activate/install the extension. (I have tried doing an extension search on Twitch now, and nothing BE3, or Bethesda, comes up). This appears to be the main point of confusion, as it is not even remotely explained in the announcement.

    3) I have no idea if you have to interact with anything (polls, trivia, etc.) during the stream, or just clicking on the puzzle icon and streaming will be enough to have a shot at the pixilated shinies.

This is my understanding of the process as of now. Clarification from an official party would be nice.

I love you for posting this. I have to admit that I felt like an idiot reading, then rereading multiple times, their announcement and wondering what I was missing. I quickly linked both accounts after making a Bethesda one, but that tip about the puzzle piece was something no amount of Googling had revealed.

I've just left the page open since the announcement so hopefully I won't be too immersed in pvp to miss the stream.

    Thanks, Esha.

I don't believe I have a Bethesda account, so I won't fret about missing the stream due to my 5E game since I wouldn't create an entire account just for a shot at five crates (I already have a white wolf that may be the one they are giving away and dislike the odd body shape and animations of the wolf mounts anyway).

Good luck to those of you who do figure out how it all works and are able to jump through the hoops for the stuff, please post crate contents once received so as to grant vicarious thrills/disappointments to the rest of us :)

Not sure if it ensuring enough, but be sure to link the accounts ;)

First it's about a live stream from a game convention, so of course it's given in the local time the event takes place. It would be different if it was a stream from the gamescom in Germany and they would still only give US times instead of the local time (GMT+2 in that case).

European events are usually announced in both local time and PT to cater to the American audience.

American events are hardly ever announced in GMT, CET or any other relatable time zone for us Europeans.
    Cruxanero wrote: »
ZOS though is usually really great when it comes to time conversions. The starting time of each day for the upcoming crown crate event is given in GMT for instance.

It didn't use to be like that - but it has gotten better, yes; but only because half their player base didn't like being treated as second rank customers.
