It's conceivably possible. To make it more effective, I'd pair bow skills with those dragon knight abilities that have some range to them. I'm not familiar enough with DK abilities to suggest anything specific, but every class has some melee, ranged, and healing abilities, although in different proportions.

Yes, but i'd imagine that would put a heavy reliance on DK's to focus on Magicka, Which lets be honest, is already a bit taxing. And considering most of the DK's fire skills are close and personal, kinda means you're gonna be taking some hits every now and again, with light armour on you really can't afford that.

Now the bow is a great source of single target damage, AoE and offers reliable kiting and performs well in group and solo combat situations. Don't forget you can also morph volley to deal fire damage and pair it with burning talons and fiery breath for an awesome AoE combo.

The bow option also allows you to solo quite a few elite world bosses too, if that floats your boat. Here's a build i used on my DK during the 3 betas i was in to great success in PvP and PvE.
