Are IC special scamp spawns broken?

I have not been able to find a scamp in months. I usually farm the sewers a few times a week totaling 3-4 hours and I only run in paths where the scamps spawn. I usually check all 3 alliance areas. The spawns used to be somewhat regular and predictable but I think they are either broken or have been nerfed into Oblivion. I'd like to be able to finish this achievement...

Thanks for the link but I know where they all spawn and how the timers work... I just haven't found a single one in ages and starting to wonder if they're broken.0 -

If the spawns are indeed broken, a Templar main should feel finally totally at home in the sewers

nuvak✭✭✭Yesterday, I was the first time for ages in the sewers, and got a trove scamp. So they are at least not completely broken, but no idea if they work correctly in general.Edited by nuvak on June 6, 2018 2:26PM1 -

✭✭✭✭@ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_GinaBruno I think I see what is happening. It used to be that the scamps would spawn and then hang out until a player came in range and then they would start their mad portal dash.
However, now the scamps seem to be heading to the portal as soon as they spawn. I was in the sewers for 3 hours today and twice I entered the room right as the scamp was finishing his portal out.
Is this intended? Can you relax these guys a bit so we actually have a chance to find them?0 -
ezeepeezee✭✭✭✭I came across 2 special scamps in about 3 hours of Tel Var farming last night. One got away cause I thought it was a normal scamp, killed the other. I haven't noticed a difference fwiw.0
