They probably have millions of people complaining with numerous different things, they have allot of stuff on there plate, and while i feel for everyone, I fully expected things like this to happen at launch. Some crappy things have happened to me in game as far as bugs go as well.

Something id like everybody (the angrier people) to take into consideration is you accepted an agreement before you started playing this game stating that you understood these kinds of things could happen. I'd like to refer people here: https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/terms-of-service, and please go down to # 6 and read carefully.

Some people have a hard time grasping all of these issue's going on, when you were clearly well informed within the Terms of Service. With that being said, please give these guys time to work with. Were at the launch of a brand new MMO, and while i would like to be enjoying my time in-game as well, i have no problem understanding that this is how it is for the time being.

I can't even play the game that I paid for... a 40 days ago.

You are so lucky. I'm not. My account is bugged or something, ZOS don't know what to do, had 2 calls, had PM with 2 ZOS Supporters on forum, sent some tickets. Nothing changed. And here I am - waiting for fix on forum and crying. :(

Bugs exists everywhere. Especially when you talk about 30 GB game. Its more than 30.000.000.000 bytes - it's a lot and it's hard to make it bug-free. They are trying and I'm happy with that. :)

It has not even been 24 hours sense they brought the servers up, i highly doubt they will just let your account go and call it a day. While i agree with you that i am lucky to get in game at least, i still expected the unexpected. Keep trying to figure out what is going on, and eventually things will be set accordingly. They have so much going on right now that I'm sure they're just as frustrated as some of the individuals on here are.

I'm not having issues with the game much, other than the stupid dismount bug, and I'm pretty happy with the game over all. But as a veteran of MMOs and MMO beta testing since Everquest, allow me to make the following observation:

Your post doesn't help. Quoting legalese to a bunch of people who can't play a game they paid $80 for (and are expected to pay $15 a month for) is less than comforting. And less than useful.

You are pissing gasoline into the fire, sir. I'm shocked you haven't been flamed already for this nonsense.

People don't read what they accept, and it shows. While i know allot of people are having issue's, like i myself did/am. i wanted to kindly remind them in what they did accept. and that is all i did, if that offends anybody i am sorry that it did so.

I don't recall seeing anything in the Terms of Service about not being able to progress in the storyline due to bugged quest, or suddenly getting told your logon information is incorrect?

the ToS basically means you can't sue Bethesda because Balreth has been buggy since the beta. That said you have every right to complain about the abundance of bugs in the game. A lot of them are early on in the levels which is really bad. Some people may see all these bugs and say "well *** it, I'm out 60 bucks but I'm not playing this ***".

I agree and also disagree with the OP. I disagree because these are bugs that have been around since beta and the patch notes said they were fixed. Also with this login issue that has come up today prevents me from even entering the game. And lastly early access was gained by paying a premium and pre-ordering (which means real world money changing hands) the product.

The way I see it is that I should be able to enjoy the 5 days of early access I paid for and thus far haven't been able to.

Still feels like a beta to me as of right now.

You do know all the legal statements are standard for most companies and are put in to protect the companies. However, when a product is severely broken or an experience a customer pays for is not of the quality suggested by the vendor, then the customer has a legal argument to be made whole again. Which means at the very least get their money back. At least in the USA.

If the post was so useless, why would you even comment?, I have been extremely polite about this whole situation i believe, and while your entitled to your opinion, i am as well.

This post is far from useless, as people need to learn to read what they accept before whining about a refund or simply saying: "this game is broken." This is the beginning of an MMO (need i remind you, that has only been out for 2 days), and people need to go with it accordingly.

Whether or not those statements are put in to protect the company, they are in there. and it clearly shows that issues could arise at any point in time without a fix right away. You agreed to understanding that, not anybody else.

Nobody started flaming on this thread for 2 days, until that one guy mentioned it above, keep your negative posts out of here please, it would be greatly appreciated, as i feel i've been extremely polite about the situation.

    Thankyou.

You do realise the U.S. legal system has ruled ToS's are non-legal and non-binding. Basically they are BS

Way to show your intelligence, lol. I'm a "fanboy" for simply keeping a thread civil. Your opinion is as intelligent as the people wondering why bugs are still in MMO's. If you want to act "cool" or "tough" with your little quick posts, then i politely ask you to do it elsewhere, as this thread is for adults & civil discussion only, not Computer-arm-chair wannabe tough guys.

With that being said, I sincerely hope everyone finds a fix for the problem they're having, and gets their stuff worked out.

ESO, if you would like to lock/delete this thread you are more than welcome to, as i see nothing but flaming coming along, and i got my point across that i wanted to.

    See everybody in game!

Luckily in the EU, I presume a lot are here as the EU servers are bad. There is a thing called unfair contract terms. If a company charges you for service or product you can't use or play. Then absolving themselves of all responsibility in the t&c's, that is null and void as it's an unfair term in law. Them mean nothing.

If someone is paying for a product/service and it is substandard then it does not matter what the t&c's say. They can ask for their money back. Or for it to be made right. Any t&c's like that would be thrown out as unfair and unenforceable.

Correct. In the EU you cannot sign away legal rights. National Law trumps T&C.

But on a different note. This evening's play session was faultless for me and epic fun. Quests that were bad in beta went smoothly.

Despite issues and worries this is a great game and I will be taking out the 180 day sub as soon as I can.
