EU Server log-in is down ?
I logged in early afternoon after the maintenance and was ok.
Now the laucher is blocked in " loading " (running eso.exe directly does not solve the problem )
only me ?

I don't think so, I suspect she could see the server was up and wanted to establish if there was a common location and/or ISP between those affected. That's a pretty standard question in these circumstances.3 -

Speaking as someone who works in IT, I'd imagine the troubleshooting went something like this:
* First can we connect successfully - yes
* Look at who else is successfully connected and who has been disconnected - They'll see a lot of people still safely connected, but also a lot of dropped connections from Italy
* Then try and figure out whether it's an Akamai problem, an ISP problem, a peer issue, or a combination of the those - easiest way to do that would be to ask for people's region & ISP
* Final step would be to contact either Akamai or the ISP or both and forward the information on, who would then need to talk to the peer if necessary. For all practical purposes it'd be outside ZOS's control at that point.

✭✭✭✭✭Interestingly, albeit also annoyingly, I am now unable to log into the game from the UK (through Virgin Media).
I was playing ok some 20 minutes ago until I entered a building in Khenarthi's Roost and then couldn't interact with anything. I logged out, waited 15 minutes or so and then logged in as far as the character screen but got an "ESO isn't working" message while logging the character in. Now I'm getting a "Can't connect to the server" error before I reach the character screen.0
