Magsorc non pet - Queens Elegance and IA

I was running the typical magsorc pet build. Yellow Juliono and necropotence sets. Tried netch over Juliano for a while. Solid dps build.
Thing is, I hate the pet. I have to bag it in trials and vet dungeons due to requests from fellow players and the thing simply gets me killed in VMA. So, not a pet guy.
I’m rolling queens elegance 5pc and IA 5 pc (have the Illambris PCs for post summerset) with 1 Kena.
My rotation is simple.
Ha (lightning staff charged and shock)
La
Blockade
La
LL
Swap
Ha (inferno staff infused and spell power)
La
Haunting curse
La
Clench
La
Clench
La
Clench
Swap
When possible (dot uptimes hit)
Overcharge
The structured whatever from mages line
La with over charge 3 times
Back to rotation
I do that last bit If my pool depletes as well, reclaiming resources on the overcharge la.
Pulling 20k without Illambris while still learning to weave and ac.
My ?
Am I too far off track worh this build? I consider it a la and ha rotation build and am trying to capitalize on the two sets both granting bonus damage via la and ha.
I roll inner light and bound with hardened ward. Mag pool is around 42k at shy of 600 cp. over 50% Crit and high spell damage.

MakeMeUhSamich✭✭✭✭✭Pretty sure Clench is not ideal as a spammable. The following is a solid no-pet build/rotation using basic gear and random staves (I’m assuming you don’t have access to an Asylum or vMA staff).

Thorstienn✭✭✭As above, Clench isn't a spammable, it's a dot. You want Force Pulse(or shock morph) or the new Imbue Weapon for Summerset morphed to Elemental Weapon.
2 points about your rotaion: use LL before blockade as the cooldown line up better. Also you can use a skill between your HA and LA. The first will help your rotation, the second will squeeze more DPS in.1 -

How would this build be useable? There are no shields on his bar.
You replace Elemental Drain (just used for DPS Parse and usually provided by a support class) with a ward.

Ll b4 wall helped my rotation jive.
I had the wrong skill listed , not clench. The interrupting one. I spam when I can, if my rotation is solid
