MIne stutters about the same or worse! I have the best gear too, i7 12 core cpu, 16gb ddr4 ram, m.2 ssds and a gtx1080. Its kinda odd that they could mess this up. I wonder if the change was internal(bad) or the result of a good 3rd party investigation into what the problem is and what the resolution should be. no other game does stutters like eso.

On a i7-7700k @5Ghz: No difference. Still stutters and no FPS improvements.
I have a 2TB HDD with Intel Optane SSD, loading screens are better. But ingame performance still the same.

So editing to
SET RequestedNumJobThreads "6"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "1"
is fine? Or do you have different recommendations?

This is the only bad I have seen with the patch. Performance in general has been better to the point I re-enabled SLI for the first time on ESO in like 2 years.
Edit: Did have some model rendering issues since Summerset though but just assumed it was broken textures. This was the day all the lag was occurring in Cyro though.

@ZOS_AlexTardif
Have you guys considered changing the game engine or a total overhaul which can help you in further development? At the moment it looks like you have very limited options what you can improve.

I have eso installed in 2 almost identical laptops, same processor, same ram, same os, everything.
The only difference is that one has a geforce 960m and the other one has a 970m.
The laptop with the 970m has those microfreezes that last 1-2 sec, and than everything goes back to normal.
While experiencing those microfreezes gpu usage goes up to 95%.
The laptop with the 960m has those microfreezes but instead of lasting 1-2 secs, they last up to a minute with fps dropping down to 1-5, and gpu usage is at 100%.
Sometimes I'm able to fix it just reducing the game to icon and jumping back in and sometimes I simply have to wait.
Now the question, how is this related to the multi-core performance update?
Pre summerset both laptops could run eso at ultra with 60-80 fps, now only the 970 equipped can.
Any thoughts?
