[Lua] Possible to use HTTP requests?

Haven't really dove into addon creation yet, but I'm just wondering if you can make HTTP requests within addons? Or if you can use other Lua libraries? From what I read on the wiki, it seems like Lua for ESO addons is limited?

Yep it is limited in the ESO context and as i know you cannot send HTTP requests directly from addons.

Not directly from the ESO context. All you can do is write yourself a script or small program to read out settings files from SavedVariables folder. Like eso-database do it. There you need a small client which upload the data for u.
