Sigil need to be removed from Deathmatch mode

    Sigil just ruins the flow of death match and really turns into a rush into a sigil game mode. This benefits premades the most as they can just easily callout when it spawns and rush to it. Pugs cant utilize it as much as many don't care or just don't know what a sigil is so it should be removed entirely

    There are many times in my random (and unorganized) pug groups, I call for everyone to get to the sigil and they seem to "ignore" me... When really, many of them don't even know what it is.

    Organized groups simply have a huge advantage.

    Seriously the sigil is so over powered. There is essentially nothing you can do to survive against a full team that has it other than hide.

    Sigil's should be removed. At the very least, there should be a global message saying which team picked them up, so we know.
    Btw, am I imagining this, or do Stormlords ALWAYS have a sigil at their spawn on certain maps when the game starts ? It's the case in this lava pit map and on some others I think.

    If they remove sigil from DM, I will exclude it from my queue.

    I don't say I like sigils. But I am completely against PvP mode without any objectives. Objectiveless, brainless slaughter is for kids only who need to boost their ego.

    If they remove sigils, they must add some new objective in DMs.

    My suggestion is to rework sigil to not give double damage. I'd rather see sigil giving a buff to the takers team (let's say global buff, one takes the buff and all group members accross whole map would get it), that would double the points (30 up from regular 15) gained from a kill for the buff duration.

    This way objectives would stay in DM, strategy could take place and crazy double damage kills would be gone. Full team sigil rushes would be gone as well, because solo scouting seems more efficient in that case.

    Alternative: Do not allow "organized teams" in random matches.
    "Random" should be truly random,
    not only for the game mode but also for the team players.


    "Organized teams" still can play against each other by selecting a specific mode instead of slaughtering random PUGS in "random games" which are not truly random.

    It'd be one thing if they could find a way to make getting the sigil competitive but right now it is just ultimate cheese.

    +1 remove them, really don't need sigil, and anyway this is generally the strongest team (organized, packed, mobile) that will take them so it will almost never benefit to the weakest, so it's even not a balanced option

    Please remove the sigil or at the very least removed the initial spawn. In some of the maps it spawns in clear view of one team giving them a stupid advantage and forcing other teams to hide or die for a minute.

    That's actually a worse implementation that what currently exists.

    Currently:

    Premade A gets the sigil and destroys all 8 others within 30 seconds - They are rewarded 120 points or whatever it is - Enemies all sit on spawn timers and the buff is essentially gone by the time they're back.

    Your suggestion:

    Premade A gets the sigil and destroys all 8 others within 1minute - They've had more uptime on the sigil and it's still gone but they have made 240 points.

    That just creates more imbalance - Even if your suggestion was just proximity based rather than map wide, that's still an issue.

    Remove the sigil, it's not wanted and I get it almost every DM I play, whether it's 1 of them or all of them.
