Premades are still ruining BG pug ques

Twice in a row I get premades that make my pug groups into easy ap, this will turn away potential pvpers from a very small pvp community. Is that what you want zos?

Edit: 3 times, really zos? the system was supposed to decrease chances of pugs being melted by premades. Also the ques have been increased by 10-20 minutes for solo queuing and I still get *** matchups. Either remove premades from being matched from pugs completely or remove the new system that isn't working obviously yet managed to have increased the que times and instead add an reward incentive to solo quers putting up with premades.

Exactly. That's what I tried to explain to them. But they don't care about the health of the game, only about ap and bragging about rekking newbs. Pvp guilds are cancer imo

yep, the future of potential pvpers all being shafted due to people wanting to get quick ap tho zos is a bit to blame and should just separate the ques entirely

Why can’t they just make separate queues for Team and Solo? Like...every other game?

No clue. To be honest under 50 should only be random groups.

It can give people that are new to Pvp a better chance. They may even get with a person who is willing to help them. I think it would make for a better experience.

Really people are only just working this out now.. People avoid pvp like the plague and then ask us why.. This thread is why.

If you’re on your Stam sorc you probably have a lot of games played. You’re a BG regular.

The queue will probably put you in the more advanced queue.

I’ve been getting nothing but premades and really strong solo players when I solo queue on my Stam warden

That’s why i quit BG after 2 matches, i suck as is..

I have been enjoying AW though, i was skeptical about it aswell for the reasons above but forced myself to try for caltrops/vigor

I don't believe there was any patch notes saying that bg experience put you up with premades more often. only notes I saw was that premades would be put with pugs less often

they tweaked the MMR formula to increase the 'premium" a team gets just for being a team. they also delayed matches that would be poorly matched.... the MMR has always been there, it just wasn't a big factor.

That's disappointing. I dont have the update yet on xb na but I like to solo que bgs and have close fights with other solo que players. It's when the premade groups jump in i go to farming mats. Was really hoping this was going to be fixed.

This was always going to happen. BG players from.the last year have on the whole worked out to play together. Even if just a pair and two randoms.

They have a year head start. And now we have an influx of true PUGs.

ZOS have the data and will be monitoring as @ZOS_BrianWheeler said. I'm sure if they continue to see a 4x4x1+1+1+1 they will act.

The issue however is previous players that know the map and game type can EASILY look like a pre-made @Aliyavana. I play then a ton and if I group in a PUG with other known BG players we tend to all play the same way. We know to split defence / offence and roll the map doing the same stuff.

So some times the pre mades are PUGs too. But I agree not all the time.

I trust ZOS to monitor tho.

That's not new though. PvPers in ESO have been opportunistic... basically always. This is just a repeat of that behavior.

Actualy in my early eso PvP days i was inspired by the skillful and organized groups that kept kicking my arse over and over again . I wanted to become what they are , so few years after , i am the knife and my enemies are the butter .

I fully concur. And I go about things the same way but MANY dont. They get beat and run away.

I did a couple of BGs and didn’t come up against any premades, maybe just bad luck? Or playing at off-peak times when there’s only try hard premades on?

BGs are probably not the place to learn how to PvP though. Cyrodiil is way more forgiving, and duels can teach you much more about yourself.

I've done only the random bg so far ( under50) and the teams was pretty balanced, we even finished the match with all tree teams at 400 points (CTF) but it was late and i was tired, today i will do more.
I'm not hoping for a big change but at least there is some fresh meat and there will be enought ppl to play even in non prime times.

I still remember PC transfers at console launch

they were significantly worse than BG premades destroying noobs.

When you have a slow horse, yes. Otherwise it’s not as bad as people make it.

When you have a slow horse, yes. Otherwise it’s not as bad as people make it.

If only cyrodil battle spirit had max mounts by default for battle spirit, action would be faster for everyone

"Battleground match making now adds an additional multiplier to the value of players who are grouped. This value scales differently between 2, 3, and 4 player groups.

This change is intended to improve the quality of matches between players. Pre-formed groups will generally be pitted against pre-formed groups, and solo players will generally be pitted against other solo players."

... I was like: OMG They really listen to us, they are not that bad after all. This was one of best things for me in these update... But then reality came... with a baseball bat.

Maybe it’s too soon to tell, you’ve got to realize some idiots will be bringing cancer builds straight into bgs to farm whatever you can get that’s new. After a while things will level out.

At the beginning yes. Let me give you a trick. Use rapid manuever, it lasts 30s so after you use it, you can switch back to your usual setup. If you play on PC use addon to switch between skills easier (I am using it switch between skills useful at sieges to like siege shield or purge). Also when you'll learn fastest paths between keeps it will get much better
