This doesn't actually help people who preordered but are now seeing their game is "Delayed". Will you be sending copies to fill those orders? Should those people cancel and buy elsewhere? If they wait until Zeni sends more stock, will they be allowed to play?

People that preorder shouldn't find out on release day that their order can't be fullfilled. That you would allow this to happen to your customers in unconscionable.

I went to fill out the form link above that @ZOS_GinaBruno posted.
Went to find my pre-order info from Amazon. I ordered it on march 29th.
But as said, because it hasn't shipped, I haven't a invoice or payment receipt as they don't bill you till it ships, so I can't even fill out the ZoS form.
This is really sad!! Have bought all the ESO CE items and not had this kind of "snafu".
Guess I will find a better use for my day off I took to play Summerset....

Just FYI, Amazon US told me an hour ago they were sold out and had no way of getting more. Interesting, Amazon rep I spoke to says they didn't receive enough supply. I guess it's probably on both parts, Amazon for taking orders after cutoff and Zenimax for not meeting demand.

Same thing happened to my order with Best Buy here in NYC

Ya know if I think back I recall a similar theme on Morrowind CE orders.

The good thing about Amazon is they don't charge until they ship but the bad thing about Amazon is they accept tons of pre-orders but only fulfill what they get in stock.

I had the same occur with an Xbox One HOTAS controller months ago and they got stock around 6 months later due to the manufacturer not planning adequately for demand.

Just checked Bust Buy website. 10 days out. Receive on May 30 if I order today...

Now says arriving Thursday so happy days. Plus some form online to get access so all is well.

Exact same problem. I sent screen cap of the order info. Hopefully that will suffice so I can actually play. Really disappointing guys.

Just got my physical collectors edition delivered. Apparently Amazon couldn't be bothered to put it in a box. Came as is with a shipping label that, thankfully, peeled off easily and cleanly. Also the corners were a little neat up nut otherwise alright. Nothing was damaged and I'm not too bothered. But really, couldn't spare a box? My Morrowind collectors edition came in a box.

I didn't get the morrowind CE and I don't think I'll get a Summerset CE, I still have my amazon order open and just placed one through newegg, if I don't get either I'm gonna be fairly upset.

Apparently when I informed him that I wanted the physical Collectors' Edition for my birthday and that he should preorder it, he didn't understand that I meant that preorders were already available. Umm...

Still, this is better than last year when I informed my husband that I wanted the physical Collectors' Edition of Morrowind on the day it was announced, and he made no attempt to buy it. I ended up buying myself the digital version because the physical was sold out within about a week of the announcement.

Urgh. Non-gamer spouses. He's a big nerd in other respects and I love him, but he just doesn't understand video game release dates.

Well, I was able to open a ticket with a invoice copy I found in my Amazon account. Filled out the form for a temp code, but no word yet.
I love Zos, but they really dropped the ball on this one...

Good to hear you were able to cancel. Yesterday I asked an Amazon rep to cancel my "pre-order" because they told me they couldn't get me the item at all and I wanted to order from a retailer who could. The rep assured me she would, but today I see the status has changed to "Shipping Now" and the order can't be cancelled at all. According to a different rep I spoke with today, the order couldn't be cancelled yesterday because their fulfillment center was already processing it then. (This despite the fact that the order said "Not Yet Shipped" and I was assured they would get no more in stock.) Now they've taken my money but can't give me any delivery estimate whatsoever. I'm looking at having to call my credit card company to sort this out.

In the meantime, the first couple of reviews on Amazon are not boding well for the quality of this CE. I suppose I'll be able to judge for myself when my Newegg order arrives tomorrow. At least I got the pre-order entitlements yesterday and won't have to file another ticket over the fact that neither retailer included those codes on the receipt as ZOS said they would.

I'm quickly passing the point where this was worth the time, money, and hassle.
