Considering the Summerset patch was not finalized until yesterday they could not have put it on a physical device and published it before then so a download should have been expected.
People by the physical collectors edition to get the physical items that come with it.

We understand the packaging and last minute updates, and if you read what i posted about the DL being the same size as everyone, it seems you missed the point. The point was, that even with last minute pushes, the DL should have been smaller for people who installed the game / chapters from disks, disks that they paid for for convenience because they knew a new DLC / Chapter would take a very long time to download and may have wanted the hard copies to install the game on new drives, computers and not have to deal with a 60 gig download. So, seeing that the physical copy was 120 dollars or so, and the discs were part of the set, and they turned out to be the one thing in the set that was not a "collectable" and they did not do what they were intended to do (you know, install the game AND chapter) i think a little salt is justified on our end. As well as the thread being ignored by the staff here, where they tend to cherry pick threads where they don't have to think, just cut and paste an answer they have given 1 million times in the past. So, while i wait, i guess i could do a snap shot compare of the before and after installs, look at the discs and see if there was one byte of Summerset on the disks, or find out if they were just old MorrowWind discs they had left over that they painted and sold, knowing that they would be defended by people who say "The game wasn't finalized until x" Still, didn't stop ZoS from packaging, distributing and watching the sales figures instead of typing up a simple "how to guide", or giving an answer here, did it?
