Those who think meteor sucks in nonvet aren't doing it right. Soul assault is debatable, even if you are doing it right.

I get annoyed that whenever I log in in the morning, there's about 3 DCs online that I have to rally to fight stage 5 keeps everywhere, usually defended by about 5x the numbers, because you guys went onto another morning emp farm. I'd much rather just log in and do my own thing with a buddy or two. Instead, I usually need to ride halfway across the map with a couple people I enlisted from zone to take something stupid like an outpost. I honestly can't be bothered this week to do this time and time again, it just isn't particularly fun or AP lucrative. And no, I'm not bothered that we can't PvDoor the map because I pretty much never take lead unless I see the faction isn't doing anything. When the whole map is yellow, that is the de facto situation.
For a bunch of guys who say it's all about fun, you sure do like creating an environment where it isn't fun for anyone else but yourselves. And even that is questionable. There is a reason a lot of long term players just don't want to be associated with that.
Why is it appropriate to despise multi-faction players? Don't forget, this is a game and it's intention is for fun. Right?
Yeah, spot-on fella. I've been commenting on the pitiful whingeing from a certain individual who seems to have lost the idea that it's a game. A yellow map should be ideal for the person, as they would have lots to do to earn AP and have some battles getting it back again!!
My own aversion to "faction flipping" isn't uncommon - lots of people don't like it.
If you want an analogy, then consider soccer. I support Newcastle United (all my toons are named after NUFC legends). Do you think for one second that if Newcastle weren't winning that I would casually switch to supporting Manchester City? Or Liverpool?? Some folks are desperate to win at all costs - I'm not one of them. Of course, it's up to each individual.
I have a stressful job mate - It's all about fun!!

Ahh, a fellow sports fan. I'm a die hard Detroit Tigers fan through and through. However, I also enjoy watching other teams play and in some cases I even cheer for other teams, regardless of how well my team is doing. It's because while I enjoy supporting my team, I also enjoy the sport in general, and some people enjoy playing in BWB in general regardless of what faction they're on. It all goes back to the idea that different people enjoy things in different ways, and that's okay!
Also, not all multi-faction players only switch to play on a winning faction. Some people like playing with, and against, different people from different factions. Some people will even leave a winning faction to help try to balance things out. There are multiple reasons somebody might play multiple factions; to group them all together as people who are "desperate to win at all costs" is disingenuous at best. Those who think meteor sucks in nonvet aren't doing it right. I'm sorry, but if you're getting facerolled by Meteor in non-vet, you need to git gud.
Captain Kirk was the worst captain that the Millenium Falcon has ever had.

Unfortunately Perth in western Australia is the most isolated city in the World... the new Dreamliner aircraft from Perth to London now can fly direct and takes 17hrs.
Great beaches & weather etc. in WA but so far from anywhere. We are apparently getting better national broadband in the next couple of years, but it is fibre to node, then copper from node to house. Not perfect, but hopefully better than it is now.
Would love to see how this game plays sub-100 latency! Would open up a heap of possibilities for me.
