Gabe I think you are at a place that I was at for months before I finally left KY. I see much conflict in you young jedi. You are sick with how your server looks and want it to be the way it was. Sorry man, I know we have butted heads a lot but I do respect how you handle yourself in cyro. It will never be the BwB we all loved. Because what made that all work back then was the fact that there were organized guilds on each faction that respected each other and believed in fair play. We all know that time is gone and will not be back unless the old guard comes back and starts it all back up. For myself, I had to move out of KY. I have found enjoyment in the game again just runin solo in vet, being very casual about it all. IVe even rolled a couple new toons and I am lvling them up in shor. That has been quite fun. Maybe its time?

Maybe if certain guild leaders organised themselves and their guild, they could put out groups 24/7. Why can't Gabriebe's crew recruit Aussies? As Stridig said, Australia is not uniquely AD.

As for Stridig, another comment from a player who doesn't suffer from latency issues - I would love to play Vivec, but my internet precludes me from doing it. Try facing a Zerg at 999+ and see how it works for you? I barely manage Kyne at an average of 400.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm a distinctly average player - I'm old with knackered fingers from playing sport and don't have the hand-eye co-ordination like my kids. I get by with a bit of experience, tactics and managing resources as best I can. That can't be said for certain re-rollers (mostly EP to be fair) who take great pleasure in ganking noobs. How does that sit with some of you almighty, that a vamp NB with gold gear every 2 levels gets their kicks from killing learners from invisibility/stealth? I was in a discord group about a year ago, and Sora happened to join the discussion and admit to us his try-hard tactics with gold gear! Those are the type people who need to go to Vivec!!!

Coldfire also is not exclusive to AD. I would also agree it maybe shouldn't be available in Kyne - take that up with ZOS.
Finally, it's odd to hear a particular person talk about Emp-farming when it looks like they've had 8 different Emp toons with maybe multiple Emps on each? Looks like that particular try-hard needs to also go up the leagues.

Dont take this the wrong way. With all due respect and all that. I think it would be wise of the new posters to consider the length of this thread and the history contained in it. This IS the longest active thread on the forums. Most of us have been bitching to each other and about each other for years. Way too much to recount it for you. If you want insight as to why we played here, why we stayed, why we left, its all right here. Feel free to catch up on the last nearly 400 pages and then find the other incarnations of the BwB thread that got locked and read those too. Then you may have enough information to know what a particular posters intentions are. Then again, we could all just be trolls and we are nothing like this in game or irl. Maybe this is just forum pvp and that is a skill that takes many stars to be good at.

FYI: emping in vet is actually easier, since there are far larger guilds (and better guilds) that can really just pop on a map, flip it, and go back to wherever they were summoned from. Leadership skills with pugs entirely optional.

I also have no idea why AD is so salty about Sora. Didn't you guys spend most of last summer emping him? I havent even seen him in about 2 months in Kyne anyway.

I duel plenty with friends. Not particularly a fan of duels as a *** whipping contest, which is why I pretty much never accept hostile requests.

@LiberatorSam , you’re in Minc. You challenged me to a duel day 1 I joined at Vinyl’s behest. I do feel confident in saying I’m a strong 1v1 player. You still haven’t dueled me. Unless it’s casual in guild sort of stuff I prefer to do 100k per duel - get at me if you want that. I’ve gold imaginary currency to blow so put your money where your mouth is. I’m up a couple million so far.

Challenging people to lowbie duels is the silliest of the silly. I don’t even think of myself as a strong duelist in the grand scheme of the game, but I think I can put you in a place.

Certainly, we can find a time and duel for 100k, and no, i wasn’t planning on doing lowbies duel, i go into kyne without gear bonus cuz kyne is just a goffy champaign. Since gabrie mentioned he’s cp720, a cp duel should be fair and square. I am certainly not the best duelist in the game, i have a couple friends i have yet to beat, but I duel anyone and everyone to hone my skills.

Get it into your thick skull that your 6am certainly isn't mine. Your 6am is my 6pm.
I respect the EP faction, as they give it a go. When I log-on it's usually a full red map. We have some excellent fun for a few hours with a red Emp attacking & defending. we win some and lose some. The map certainly is NOT empty.
It does get quiet later on when East Coast Australia goes to bed - that's when PvDoor usually occurs, but a lot of that is guys getting scrolls/skyshards from home keeps. I usually pop into PvE world at that stage as it becomes boring, and the ones doing it are the Americans in their morning!

Talking of home keeps, it was reasonably amusing when AD camped DC home keeps last week. That was purely in response to Necrodemus (DC) doing exactly the same thing the week before. Your hilarious reaction to it was priceless! Watching you and your crew get your backsides kicked with EQUAL numbers was a sight to behold. I think some of you even had coldfire - shock/horror! Siege engines are there for a purpose, and if you say your team don't use them, you are a liar.

I don't mind you fellas turning a map blue - gives me a chance to earn AP and have fun in the process. Don't forget, this is a game and it's intention is for fun.

Not at all salty about Sora. Used him as an example of persons who really need to go to be a small fish in a big pond. Their egos may not survive though. People like Gaelic & Valor are the reason many good AD left and went to DC/EP. They chose to change factions in order to kill them. Unfortunately I chose AD early, and really cannot multi-faction. Some of you do it, and are despised appropriately - I will continue to play AD through good times & bad times.

Take a chill-pill and learn to enjoy the game and the challenges it throws at you. Tantrums and associated salty behaviour only feeds the trolls and confirms your childish behaviour.

This really isnt debatable. Its not your time or gabes time. Its SERVER time. I happen to live in the same timezone as the servers are located. My prime time IS server prime time. You go by server time because it is the only constant. Anything else is just confusing and incorrect.

And why have you ignored my question? Why dont you like the EU server. It would be mid day server time for you. Should be a lot more action.

Yeah, spot-on fella. I've been commenting on the pitiful whingeing from a certain individual who seems to have lost the idea that it's a game. A yellow map should be ideal for the person, as they would have lots to do to earn AP and have some battles getting it back again!!

My own aversion to "faction flipping" isn't uncommon - lots of people don't like it.
If you want an analogy, then consider soccer. I support Newcastle United (all my toons are named after NUFC legends). Do you think for one second that if Newcastle weren't winning that I would casually switch to supporting Manchester City? Or Liverpool?? Some folks are desperate to win at all costs - I'm not one of them. Of course, it's up to each individual.

I've played on the EU server a few times with no or very little lag. The problem I had was there was nobody playing. I like big fun fights.
