@DuskMarine
You do know Destiny 1 fixed their problems in about 18 months right? This game has been out since 2014 so please spare me your naivety.
Everyone understands issues take a long time to fix but the problem is little to no communication, largely ignoring player feedback or outright basically telling us to shove it, etc

18 months haha........ha thats kinda funny cause it actually tookem like 3 years to get it even remotely playable to the ones like me that play rpgs on a regular basis. that game was horrid for a lot longer than 18 months.
There's a simple solution to this, stop paying them and play something else.

Thank you ZOS, for listening to your customer feedback to make a truly stellar game...
(for those of you who are familiar with the scaffolding in the Thieves' Guild dungeons... that was a perfect example of talented developers implementing customer ideas... oh, and you're welcome...)
As I said before, these are the white knights who enjoy their simple pve overland quest and will still continue to support the game through the crown store. Therefore, ZOS has no real reason to improve combat since it makes no money.
OP take it easy and relax.
For whatever reason if you are not satisfied with the game, just cancel your account.
I am as equally critical of the combat mechanics and balance.
They are enamored with one shot mechanics in PVE and it bleeds over in pvp, and it is a serious problem.
They will never have any reasonable balance in this game so long as pve and pve skills are not isolated.
PVP is a literal disgrace. It has to be the most atrocious balanced I've ever seen.
So....whatever, cancel account and carry on. See, no biggie.

It isn't "white Knighting" to enjoy something... I have not spent dollar one on Crowns... I get them with my ESO+ subscription, but that is not the reason I subscribe... I subscribe to ESO+ to invest in a pastime that I enjoy... Being an actual part of the development of something improves the journey... I'd rather help drive than whine in the back seat...

If there was a Destiny 2 style revolt, I just hope to god ZoS would listen to the player base, rather than ignore them like Bungo and keep pushing out crap like everything is just fine.

We've gone from an era of gaming where microtransactions were unheard of to one where you're hard pressed to find a game without them.
We've gone from having game developers actively engaged in communication with their players and genuinely caring about the experience to companies that package and sell junk while labelling it gold, shut down anyone saying anything negative about it, and lying to your face when you call them out on these practices.
This *** has to stop, and the sooner the white knights stop defending those who are blatantly taking advantage of them, the sooner that cancer will wither and fade. I doubt it will ever happen, though, because too many of these people are all too happy to bend over and get reamed while saying thank you for it.
Customer service does not mean the customers serve you.
zos is genuinely caring about its playerbase they actually care about what we say people just want the impossible to happen like balance changes that needs a while to be fixed and worked on. and ive been in the gaming world a bit longer than you have and what your comparing zos to is not what zos is which i know who your comparing them to which is EA. sorry but i have to whole heartly disagree with you on that. EA doesnt talk at all and just gives out what they want us to do not what we say is wrong. zos does the complete polar opposite which is why alot of us have no problem supporting them. ZOS yes may take time to fix or add things players are saying are broken or want added but they do eventually add them. people wanted housing and jewelry crafting from day one of eso guess what we have now housing and jewelry crafting is coming. peoples main gripe right now class balancing if you ask me in the current build of the game class balance is currently just fine. but zos has already confirmed that they are working on it as a whole its going to take a lot of testing to make sure nothing gets messed up so your looking at maybe another year worth of work to be done on that. you gotta give games time you cant expect them to be done super fast.
You're naive. We've been told a dozen times between morrowind and now that class balance changes were going to be worked on. If any work had actually been done on that front, we would have it on the pts for summerset.
The problem here is people like yourself keep believing the lies zos is feeding you.

Atleast it hasn't turned into an EA copy cat

The level of disconnection between your game directors, developers, community representatives, and customers is mind blowing. We hear one thing from wrobel, something entirely different from gina, and then stances do a complete 180 two weeks later. Does anyone actually know what the hell they're doing? Is there any infrastructure to your company, any quality control, any oversight?
We're sick of hearing you'll do this, or you'll do that, only to have it put off patch after patch after patch. Meanwhile, as your entire community is waiting for things to be set right after being told that's what was going to happen, all we see is more crown store releases trying to milk our wallets and distract from the real issues.
I've been holding out for well over a year now waiting for the base game changes we were told were coming to actually show up, and we've been misled once again. Give us a reason to believe you for once, because my patience has run out, I'm tired of paying for a broken product and as a customer I'm tired of being taken advantage of. Zenimax has lost all credibility and good faith from me, my subscription is done and you're not getting this customer back until something is done to warrant it.

He speaks for the majority of like minded people, I’m guessing your supportive of Zos and their recent decisions?

They're coming out with a new expansion in two weeks, what more can these snow flakes want?

im not sure what your referring to but zos isnt a ea copy. but bungie sure as heck is a copy of ea eververse is a prime example. at least the lootcrates in eso resemble what wed pay for out of lootcrates that you can get irl which is cosmetic items. destiny 2 those lootboxes are the only place to get endgame exotic shells.

Maybe the same level of quality expected from any other AAA mmo expansion for a similar price? Of course that’s subjective, but you did ask.
Honestly just looking at the amount and quality of new features, balancing, environments and story coming from the competition, ESO’s “chapter” feels pretty laughable. They should feel lucky that any of you put up with this bare minimum effort.
