We need Clockwork City furnishing plans more available.

Morrowind documents with purple and blue plans dropped with Dragon Bones, 8 months after the release of Morrowind Chapter.

Clockwork City will be 8 months old in June when Summerset arrives, yet there are no documents with CWC plans for sale on the PTS. The CWC furnishing plans are almost non-existant on PC-EU server, the few there are, cost an exorbitant of gold, and many of the plans aren't even for sale or available anywhere. This won't change any time soon, with Summerset, even more people will abandon the CWC zone and move to Summerset to steal and loot.

It's been 8 months when Summerset arrives, either give us CWC documents with plans for sale, or have another group finder bonanza event with the CWC plans dropping. The complete lack of these recipes is disheartening for anyone who wants to do decorations with them.

    Let's look at this recipe.

9 ochre. That's the new furnishing mat that drops from seams. I believe testers have noticed that the drop is very low, 1/3 or less than the other furnishing mats. So think Mundane Runes, just 10 times as rare.

2 Culanda Lacquer. That's the style mat you can only get by doing daily quests for a random chance of getting 1 of them. So think Bonemold Resin.

2 Zircon Plating. That's the purple upgrade mat, that only comes in 1/10th of a piece from refining. So think 10 Mastics, if there were only half or less wood nodes in the game.

Yeah I think you can just forget about my participation in this godawful stupid grind. As if getting the damn recipes wasn't hard enough as it is.

Every update you continue to make everything 10x harder to get than it already was.

But I'm sure they will be for sale in the crown store from day 1, only a thousand crowns each, right?

We're also slowly seeing more building components added. Like... stairs!

    gOPQUiH.jpg
    ^ crown store only
    iEZtMCB.jpg
^ can be bought for 200g at home furnishing merchant in Elinor.

Those two items. High elf stairway and High elf stairway (wide) really need to be added to the Summerset Home good vendor so they are purchasable with gold. The homestead community has been asking for staircases to be added to the game since homestead first came out. Staircases are super useful and would really help us cut down on item counts.

To lock these things behind the crown store is just plain cruel.

Yes! PLEASE let us place those large ceiling high structural bookshelves that came with Summerset!

Or the similar large bookshelves in the Breton style that you see in the Mage's guilds everywhere. I've been wanting to place them for years - crafting, crown store, motif I don't really care but I'd like to have them.

More wall pieces, like those used to change and vary the layouts in Breton Inns would be nice too!

You mean like gating off clutter books, scrolls and most of the flowers and paintings behind the Crown Store? Now who would be so cynical to do that, I wonder ..

Are they removing the current 6 plans Rolis has or are they just adding one to the list, so there will now be 7?

Really is odd that with a chapter update, they're only adding one new Rolis plan. I haven't bought any of the current ones yet, partly because I spent all my vouchers on the MW furnishing documents and one storage container and have slowly been building them up again; partly because of the expensive mats required for some of them (20 refined bonemold resin!); and partly because I've been debating about whether to wait until they end up with Faustina at 25 vouchers cheaper.

I suppose with the rarity of the SS furnishing plans, you may likely have enough mats gathered by the time you find a plan to make. :D

It is sad that after so much time after the launch of Homestead the furnishings available from crafting are so limited, compared to the amount of assets from the game.

I really do not understand the game developer' stance on this matter, since player made content is such a big thing now in the gaming industry.

Updated the furnishing plan drop chances within Vvardenfell, Clockwork City, and Summerset. When you loot a furnishing plan in these areas, you are now much more likely to see furnishing plans directly associated with that area.

This is how it should have worked in the first place. I sincerely hope we will see recipes from CWC and Summerset more available for guild traders, and for more reasonable prices than the 500k+ that we have seen in the past.
Vvardenfell is less of an issue, now that we have the voucher documents, but CWC recipes are almost non-existant on PC-EU server, and the few that are for sale there are in the several hundred thousands per piece pricing.

Time will show just how much or how little the droprate has been changed, but I'm somewhat optimistic anyway.

Having documents for sale for blue and purple CWC recipes, just like Vvardenfell, would be a preferable alternative as well though

And dont forget th Ayleid furnishing plans. Yes there are not many, but even the blue ones drop incredibly rare. I tried to farm them several weeks now and didnt even find a single purple one. Clearly needs to be adressed too.

Still rather disappointed that we get one measly new recipe on the mastercrafter vendor. I mean, the summerset achievement furniture is nice (albeit extremely pricey), and the psijic furnishing recipes are nice, but we have been asking for so many new furnishings that are already in game as models, but not obtainable as furnishings yet, and many of these would fit nicely on the mastercrafter vendor as gold tier recipes, no least the Vvardenfell oven that people have been asking for for almost a year now. Seeing as the current provisioning station is laughably outdated and awkward to place in pretty much every home, why not give us an alternative with the oven. Or recipes for the bottled mushrooms from Vvardenfell, or the mammoth and bear effigies from Wrothgar.

Also, as I said in my post above this, I'm glad that you finally are adressing the lousy drop rate of DLC furnishing plans, it was needed a long time ago. But what about the Vvardenfell plants and fungi furnishings and paintings? These have an extremely low droprate, and only drop in this one zone. It's virtually impossible to gather the paintings and plants/fungi that you need for your homes yourself, and it's almost never for sale on the guild traders as well, solely due to how extremely low the droprates are. Couldn't you nudge up the droprate just a little on these furnishings as well? Seeing as there is no way to get them in any other way, outside the crown store.

Ayleid and Dwarven recipes are also extremely scarce. Once again, there are several of them not even for sale at any guild trader on PC-EU for weeks and weeks. I think looking into the droprate of these is justified.

    RE: crafting stations as furnishings.

The new jewelrycrafting station looks great, I'm sure everyone agrees.

It also highlights just how outdated and poor looking the other crafting stations are. The Clockwork alternative stations we got a while back were nice, but also only suitable in the Clockwork environment.

The time for a more luxurious or higher-tier edition of the other crafting stations is sorely needed. Put them on the mastercrafter vendor, and charge more vouchers for them. With the rickety uneven wooden boards and low-res clutter, the vanilla crafting stations are getting progressively poorer and poorer to look at with every DLC that comes out.

The provisioning station aka campfire in your kitchen is especially gruesome, and I have seen lots of people try and cover it up with clutter and rocks or stones just to make it look like something else than a campfire.
When we have several models for grills, ovens and especially the Vvardenfell brass oven, why haven't you given us these as cosmetic alternatives to the hideous campfire cooking station?

Other than just complaining about what we don't have, is this the thread to report actual furnishing bugs?

Butterfly flocks are nice, but the wingbeat is much too slow and looks unnatural. The Ancestor Moth pets, on the other hand, look a lot better with the quicker flutter.

The large, round, multi-tiered High Elf fountain is nice, but the water level in the tiers is too low, and nothing comes out of the spouts (with no option to turn flow on/off either.)

Yes please... Also the requirement of 6+ dwemer frames for each furnishing is crazy considering the drop rate of dwemer scrap.

I was just going to point out how disappointed I am to find that there are no prefilled bookcases in the new furnishings. There are TWO in the Redguard furniture and I use them a lot to help flesh out library spaces. I would have thought it was a no-brainer to have done AT LEAST that many for Summerset.

After reading through this I am reminded of how unhappy I am with Zeni's implementation of player housing overall. I am honestly concerned that they are going to kill my enjoyment of Summerset the exact same way they did with Morrowind by making the furnishing plans... and now the items needed for the furnishings themselves even IF you can get the plans, nearly impossible to obtain. For more on that see: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/407655/zos-are-you-going-to-ruin-summerset-for-me-like-you-did-morrowind/p1

140 pieces of Dwemer Scrap to make a single wall sconce! Ridiculous!
