Yes. It is. And I say that as someone who has subscribed since before there was a craft bag and will continue subscribing after.
It's just such a HUGE quality of life improvement that it should be part of the base game.OK, so you want the Crafting Bag to be available without a Subscription. What do you propose to replace it with that gives me the same value for my sub?
People asking for this do not realize it will be the death of the game if this was to happen, simply because so many would unsub, the financial model of ZOS would probably not survive unless some things you don't want to happen became part of the Crown Store. The day this was announced would be the day I would ditch my sub.
So, really, pay your sub if you want the crafting bag.
Did you subscribe before there was a craft bag (when there were even fewer incentives to do so than now)?

But this craft bag is such a need in this game that just imagining not having one would make me not want to play this game.
Some players have 14/14 characters with full bank space and full storage chest inventory.
Why? Because they have to sit on so many reagents and random armor styles etc.
I think to make craft bag only available to subscribers for this long is a mistake. I guarantee this decision has pushed thousands if not millions away from the game. And you cant blame them craft bag is a need in this game. But its blocked by a monthly sub...
I feel like zos is worried if they give it out free there will be outrage by the subscribers. But in reality who cares worst comes to worst you lose subscribers but you hold on to the players that are debating whether or not the craft bag is a deal breaker to them.

Before the craft bag and optional subs, anyone who wanted to play the game had to sub. Mandatory subs were required. You didn't sub, you didn't play. "Incentives" didn't enter into it, and there wasn't anything else to buy, it was all part of the sub.
Yes, but there was a period between the game being sub-only and the arrival of the craft bag where ESO+ only gave you access to the DLCs and the XP/gold/research time buffs.
Edited to add: Tamriel Unlimited came out in March 2015 and the Craft Bag was introduced in May 2016 (coincidentally, that's when Vet Ranks were removed.
Actually, if you look at one of my later posts, you will see that there was a 14-month period between the time the game became B2P (March 2015) and the time the Craft Bag was introduced (May 2016). I did subscribe throughout that period.
I don't think that's the case... I do not remember subscribing to ESO+ without the crafting bag....
Then you're contradicting yourself.PelinalWhitestrake wrote: »
Clearly I did.... considering I have been playing ESO since 2013....
I apologize if I'm messing up the quotes, but i'm on my phone.
If this worked you should have links to the respective patch notes in my post quoted above yours.

Top-shelf content, huh? That's a bold statement.DaveMoeDee wrote: »
As if there are millions of freeloaders. Besides the Crafting Bag, one of the main reasons I subscribe is that I believe it is a worthwhile investment to ensure that ZOS developers continue to produce top-shelf content...

It is possible to manage all the crafting *** but you got to make a lot of sacrifices. I suppose it helps that all my characters are fully outfitted and I don't have to worry about getting rid of gear I might use.
It was a huge shift and I feel the limited inventory space constantly.
But I still think that giving it to non eso plus members would harm the entire game because they'll lose so much money the performance and development will be drastically effected from lack of income. ESO+ members keep the game running. They should have more advantages tbh

But... why? Do you not like free stuff? Or do you just hate other people? I mean, other people can suck, but like, not always, y'know?

people need to stop whining about something a subscription gives subs are always meant to have something nonsubs have an infinite craft bag being the thing nonsubs can do without.
