Dude. It isn't difficult. I too have kids and work and don't have all the time in the world. By no stretch of the imagination am I some excellent player either. If I can get it, anyone can.

Despite it being obvious bait, I am going to bite anyway.
Remembering that there are people like these warms my heart whenever I secure a kill on an emperor despite having the achievement already.

Here is how I got the achievement the first time.

It was around noon under the week on the below50 server, so not many people were online. We were about 12 random noobs trying to take a keep, but the magblade emperor was defending it alone. He kept running into our group, spamming his sap essence to sustain and killing us one at a time, but would go invisible before we could seriously harm him and wouldn't manage to wipe us either.
I was on my own NB and hadn't had my mark morphed yet. So when I died, I would morph the skill and ride back to deny his invisibility, turning the tide in the endless battle of noobs. One could tell from the way he was moving that he panicked once he realised that we could still see him, which was just priceless. I got the kill with my execute, because of course.

I feel sorry for you that you need to pay gold to randoms to get achievements like this.

I've asked few friends and they helped me get that one, then I relogged on alt and I helped them get this achievement also.

I used to think people who payed for vamp/ww bites were low, now there is a new low...paying to kill emp for the dye (regecide red isn't even that nice of a red, too mottled) is just low and ridiculous and any emp who would offer themselves to be killed in exchange needs to be reported for how toxic and exploiting that is.

It's just a pointless way to play. Utterly.

You might as well just buy every achievement in game now if your goal is to 'save time'

Honestly this game would be better without achievements if people just going to cheat to tick then off.

It's the people flipping Emp to tick it off or buy the throne. Sweet lord you should want to be emp to lead your alliance to victory and slay the enemy, not farm some meaningless achievement points.

Damn.

To be honest I hope the Emp just took your tempers as taxes and carried on fighting you.

It is an ok price for a death in terms of gold for time spent though most people at that level are used to grinding and have stack of gold items and gold in general to not really be bothered to go out of their way to do such things. If someone is bored or helping a friend out then they likely will do it anyway for something to do.

I don't see it as the end of the world if everyone ends up getting the achievements on the game. My view is they aren't really achievements if people aren't ever able to achieve them. It is a nice bragging point if many can't get it though outside of the game I find people are pretty much not interested in what is achieved in things they aren't participating in themselves.

@Lloydmp : did you miss the fun on the forums when people got banned for flipping keeps for double AP during an event? Different factions were standing in one or more keeps, not fighting, just taking turns stepping on the flag to flip ownership. People got temp bans and AP removed, iirc. Not much different from paying the current emperor to take a dive because you can't be bothered to fight. And the op already said he paid for other achievements instead of actually "achieving" them. :shrug:

Actually its not too difficult to achieve. I just got it by accident in huge group fight. But becoming emperor is difficult one.

Hire a PRO NB group. Group with them. Let him kill the emperor. You have to make atleast make 1 hit I believe & stay alive. You get emperor slayer achievement. Simple.
