What’s in your free crown crates?

- A soul gem, which I converted to gems.
- A riding lesson, which I used.
- Some xp scrolls, which I banked.

You payed for ESO+ and you got ESO+, they gave you the crates for free to show their appreciation (mostly to promote crown crates). ✭✭I'm on XB NA, and I got mine last night. My husband is on PC and hasn't gotten his, so yeah...I think it's tied to server maintenance.
I got a Peryite banner and two stupid tattoos. Seriously! Tattoos... Oh, and I got a duplicate stupid emote that converted to gems. Let's see, what else...ah yes, the dragon priest or dragon warrior (don't remember which since I have them both) - that converted right away to 33 gems. Also, a duplicate circlet. So, yeah...two dumb tattoos that I'll never use and a Peryite banner - which I'm actually quite happy to get. Would much rather have had the statue, but...
All in all, these are free, but it does sometimes sting a little when you get mostly crap and others pull apex mounts - not that I wanted any of this seasons mounts.
Oh, wait...I also got that dragon bones summon memento. Kinda cool, but I'll never use it.0 -

jkolb2030✭✭✭I got a bunch of potions/poisons and emotes that i already had .. I feel like the flip the bird emote is the new nix hound for me, unfortunately.
But free is free - and i converted everything into gems in anticipation of the new motif being partially locked behind crown crates come summerset.

not exactly. They are trying to promote ESO+ because people are not buying into it as much as they want and to appease people already on eso+ they are offering the crates.

PC doesn't have maintenance until May 4, 10:00AM EDT, which means crates will likely begin delivery on PC afterward.
Does anyone have crate content that supports this theory? I.e. brand new stuff, that requires the maintenance to deliver it.0 -

That's a big leap seeing as they did this exact same thing last year and repeat all their events annually.
They will never struggle for money in regards to ESO. Everything they do at this point is just profit.2 -
