Resource drain bug

Ever since the Dragonbones update, there has been a bug that drains resources. The bug is intermittent and random and not yet reproducible. It just happens episodically in all types of content (solo, group, PvP, etc). There are prior reports of the bug here and here.
There has been no developer communication on this issue, other than asking if a patch fixed it. (It didn't.)
Since I experience this bug earlier today I've got to know: what the heck is going on here? Can we get an update on why this is still happening 2 months after it was first reported?

I do not understand the lack of communication regarding bugs at all. It doesn't matter if I report them here, on PTS forum or ingame via /bug, the error stays ingame way to long and we as a player have no idea if they even acknowledge the bugs or not. Makes me question if it's even worthwhile to report them because clearly, the focus of interest is somewhere else.Edited by HakaiDo on May 3, 2018 6:08AM0
