So let me get this straight You Ignore someone and You know you Ignored them. Yet you still read the threads they create so you can come to the forum to create another thread to CRY about it?
Brilliant

Yeah because I don’t get a choice if I want to see it or not. It’s there and sure, I’m easily baited by stupidity being taunted around like it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

You do have a choice do not click that thread.
So the one you Ignored is not the problem you are if you are so easily baited into reading their threads so you can CRY about it in a new thread.

Clearly you have a higher tolerance for stupidity then.

^this.
don't like the poster?
don't open the thread.
Many forums are designed in this manner. A new discussion thread isn't a post. Posts are tied to thread discussion IDs, which can be blocked (or in this forum's design, hidden). There is no good reason it doesn’t work like this already, and it’s a serious oversight in design.
i kinda wanna know now who has me on silence
i mean - in our heads - we probably all think we're charming people with lots of good stuff to share - but, in reality - no doubt my voice must grate on some...
we need an elephant...

You shouldn't see threads created by people on your ignore list and any comments made by them should just not show up at all. There are some people I just don't want to read at all, yet they seem to shoot out 10 new threads of uselessness daily.

I love it. I've learned the pictures of the posters with nothing to contribute for the most part. I will say some posters I enjoy reading have the same forum avatar as those I ignore, so I'm pretty sure I ignore them by mistake sometimes, but you can usually tell by the topic, too.
They haven't.I don't mind the blanked section of ignored persons comment as it does give me chance to see if they have become intelligent enough to warrant another look.
