Read your own post. You sound awful negative yourself rather than helpful in explaining how it could have been better or how we could try to prevent it in the future.
Yes, they likely didn't phrase it well, but that doesn't mean that we can always do that. And at the time, maybe they didn't know anything was ever coming back(like limited time houses that still haven't come back with no future plans) which would have made it impossible to put a positive spin on it.
You saw negativity and reacted to it with negativity likely because that is what you wanted to see, while the thread starter's story was just being informative to the person which is neither positive nor negative.
i wasnt trying to be positive. the OP came on here and blamed the game for causing someone to leave, when it wasnt the game, it was the OPs interaction with the player that was the cause. I'll blame ZOS when ZOS are to blame, but this ones entirely on the OP if their post is an accurate representation of what happened.
They 'likely' didnt phrase it well? try definitely. Also, I'm not here to educate you to repeat what i would have said. It needs to come from you, or them, or whoever. If hatred of this game is all you (generally speaking) can come up with when talking to noobs, you shouldnt be here. or at least not interacting with people. Becuase either way the game is making you miserable. or more miserable. Please dont spread it.
I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that what you intended was to ask the OP to consider another perspective; another possible explanation for the player's reaction, or perhaps the possibility that there are other factors to consider outside of the one that the OP highlights.
