If you want Major Sorcery, use magicka abilities or weapons. Forward Momentum is already a value-packed skill, it doesn't need anything more.

In the 2hand passives great swords increase you damage by 5% this applies to magicka as well

To remove and become immune to snares, normally as a melee magblade since your skills will be all melee skills.

Rally and Forward Momentum already offer a ton of value/cost, especially in PVP. It's a big reason why 2H is as ubiquitous as it is in PVP at the moment (Along with 2H having a gap-closer and an execute all in one skill line). You're suggesting that Zenimax add more utility to an already value-packed skill. There's no sensible reason to add any kind of magicka-related ability to an explicitly stamina-based skill line. It's like someone asking for stamina morphs in the Destruction Staff tree because they boost Weapon Damage in addition to Spell Damage.

This isn't really going to fly in the next patch when light and heavy attacks for 2H weapons, Bows, and 1H weapons scale based both on weapon damage and max stamina. After that change, a magicka character with a 2H will hit like a wet noodle during their weaves (not even gonna mention the 2H light attack and heavy attack damage nerfs) You're asking for a change to support a character build that won't exist post-patch.

It's not that you're thinking is wrong.
It's you'll make Forward Momentum super OP.
A hot (the heal itself doesn't matter much, it's that you can proc a ton of things with it)
Snare and roots immunity for 8 sec (hella good as is)
Both forms of major buff
For the cost of less than a roll Dodge for a mag character.
Would make Forward Momentum too good to not run.

It's for snare/immobilization removal. Magicka specs out side of templar have no reliable way of countering them, so they are willing to drop staff, which is obviously better, just to have an option to remove snares. Which is sad from magicka PoV.

Mistform and efficient purge. Stop complaining. It’s just that no magicka builds want to slot them and give up one of their unique class skills. Welcome to the world of stamina, everyone uses the same couple of skills to get by because there’s no other choice.
