As you can see from the video, the heal from burning embers seems to be bugged. Getting 7k - 12k ticks within 1 second of being recast while in a duel.

Now when Zos fixes it, it will be worse than before.

Good, I've gotten 19k embers healz while I've dueled people. It can suffer a bit of a change

This is nothing compared to rally/vigor heals that Stam classes can pull. Quit advocating for stupid, unneeded nerfs.

Unneeded nerf??? This is not how the skill is supposed to work. It is bugged.

    @usmguy1234 directed at him sorry

    Embers cost roughly 1100-1300 magika.

    Vigor costs roughly 2800-3200 stam

    Rally cost roughly 3100-3500 stam

    They do not compare.

The caveat to it is that it is delayed and tied to a dot. Have a purgebot? Gone with maybe a 1-1.5k heal. An NB in cloak, no damage ticks, less healing at end. Yeah, you can mash it, so in duels it becomes quite strong, but its not really economical. Also you can dodge it now too, as it should be.

Using it as a primary heal is ballsy because you never know what will happen.

That said, in combination I do like it a lot, now PL has been over nerfed its probably the DKs only clutch-ish thing, which balances itself out OW.

Thank you for explaining that so I didn't have to. Stam literally can do one dodge roll/vigor cancel punch rally and go from quarter health to full in a split second. Magdk not having a class based execute only compounds the issue.

    Zaghigoth- Orc Stamplar
    Soul Razor- Altmer Magsorc
    Les Drago- Redguard Stamdk

    After strife ...

and it's cheaper than strife on live... I don't understand why people disagree with me. I actually play a DK, that's why I hate on them becuase all you do is hold down block, heavy attack for stam, and re-apply dots and then Ult When you need to make a kill.

Clearly you don't play DK well then

Magdk is a carry class in PvP.

It's probably the least carry class tbh. Nothing it has strong can't be done better by another class.

Unless you mean the hold block and spam embers duel builds. Then yeah, fair enough.

It's way easier to play and to be successful with in OW than stamdk, magplar, magwarden or stamplar.
    In 1v1 it's even better

Lol if you think mDK is "easier to play and to be successful" with in open world compared to ANY stam class. Would honestly love to see you try to open world on an mDK solo.
    Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
    Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

Honestly people on these forums are delusional.

I do and it is much easier than stamplar and stamdk.
I play all 3 of them and magdk is much easier than those two.

Stamdk is worse in any meaningful category.

Stamplar either runs a bleed build which is really weak when you face more than 1 player as you can't apply your full pressure ---> you die
Or you use the better OW build with 1h&s and 2h which has just as bad mobility as magdk but has worse healing and needs much bigger offensive windows to burst your enemy. Yes you have purge but only 3-5 times, you completely rely on a lag free Environment as soon as there are minor lags you can throw jabs as your main source of damage out of the window because you won't hit someone with it.

I advise checking out DDukes clips with his Magdk that's how you play magdk, also check how many stamplar/ stamdk clips are out there and how many magdk clips are there.
