I wish we could! My Skyrim Altmer dovahkiin had black hair and I was sad the closest I could get in this game was medium brown.

Agree. I made an Altmer( Maormer) who has darkest hair possible, which is still pretty light. Would love for her to have black hair.

What I dont get is, why we cant dye hair at all.
We can dye armor and weapon made of steal, woden stuff, but not our hair... You even can change the hairstyle.

Hair dye would totaly fit into the outfiting station, maybe just default colors for all and for unique or special colors you need achievements or quests done, what do I know...

I agree, this is such bs. I wasted an entire appearance change token one time because I forgot that I couldn't change my hair colour to darker. So now I'm stuck with this bright goldy sortof brown which is not bad looking, but completely not what I wanted in the first place.

I hate that ZoS don't seem to care about what I assume they think are 'little things.' >:(

I hope we will get options for changing haircolor. Other races colors like they did with the hairstyles. In collections there are specific hairstyles we cant use in character creation. Like the redguard ones. In the collection we can use all human and mer hairstyles. Haircolors should work the same way.

It's shameful for ZOS that it costs 1000 crowns just to change the colour of your hair in this game.
There's no excuse this couldn't be a base game feature like in any other decent MMO.

It would be awesome if the "Hide Helmet" in outfits had 3 colorslots to dye hair w/ all possible achievment colors.

Purchasing a color pack granting access to the char creation colors as a "collectible" (same way as hairstyles), _should_ be a thing since...well since there is a crownstore.

    aw_crwn_costumes_kinlordsalinorattire_1x1.jpg

Can you create dark haired High Elves on the pts?

    THANK YOU.

And while we're on the obvious need for hair coloring variations, what about giving us the wonderful shade of bloodwine red that High Elf Sorceress from the trailers has?

I mean, its not that I secretly worship this character (because I do). But it would be nice to try an recreate her with my female Aldmeri sorcerer in PTS (and later when Summerset goes gold). Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery after all.

It's absurd to restrict the different races to specific hair colors IMO. Yes it's a fantasy world. But the reality is you won't find 99.9999% of your population limited to some 2 dozen hair colors. Just as you wouldn't irl. Like in the Scandanavian countries where the majority of the population are fair haired and blue/light colored eyes, the majority of this is a wide variation in blonde hair. From the stereotypical platinum blondes, to dirty blonde, to strawberry blonde etc. And yes, there IS a significant amount of the population which has BLACK hair or very dark brown hair.

A greater variety in hair/eye coloring would be nice. Like giving us a color wheel where we could have infinite variations to customize hair/eye colors. Similar to CAS in TS3 for example.

There are bath tubs in the game, no need to pour while standing. Just make sure they dry accurate, we dont want them to catch a cold.
Still does make more sense than being able to dye metal stuff but not hair.

Its a fantasy world in which certain races have certain ranges in hair colors. I am ok with that, it is similar to the range of body size or other aspects like skin color. It does nothing have to do with humans in reality.

I may be missing the joke here, but ESO is canon, just taking place in a period of time where practically no lore survives. So there's no reason that Altmer shouldn't have black hair if they did in "future" games. I want black hair on my ESO Altmer like I was able to have black hair on my Skyrim Altmer.

Add to that, there are several Altmer in ESO with black or very dark brown hair. So it's not a racial restriction in the realm, it's only a restriction for players. I can think of no valid reason for this.
