We can dye armor and weapon made of steal, woden stuff, but not our hair... You even can change the hairstyle.
Hair dye would totaly fit into the outfiting station, maybe just default colors for all and for unique or special colors you need achievements or quests done, what do I know...
It would be awesome if the "Hide Helmet" in outfits had 3 colorslots to dye hair w/ all possible achievment colors.
Purchasing a color pack granting access to the char creation colors as a "collectible" (same way as hairstyles), _should_ be a thing since...well since there is a crownstore.
It's probably an Ayleid thing, just like certain eye colours.DisgracefulMind wrote: »I have made posts about this before. It's ridiculous that we can't have a black-haired option for Altmer.

Can you create dark haired High Elves on the pts?

I can totally see it now. Some Khajiit pouring out dye pots over themselves at the outfitting station to change their hair colour...

It's absurd to restrict the different races to specific hair colors IMO. Yes it's a fantasy world. But the reality is you won't find 99.9999% of your population limited to some 2 dozen hair colors. Just as you wouldn't irl. Like in the Scandanavian countries where the majority of the population are fair haired and blue/light colored eyes, the majority of this is a wide variation in blonde hair. From the stereotypical platinum blondes, to dirty blonde, to strawberry blonde etc. And yes, there IS a significant amount of the population which has BLACK hair or very dark brown hair.

Its a fantasy world in which certain races have certain ranges in hair colors. I am ok with that, it is similar to the range of body size or other aspects like skin color. It does nothing have to do with humans in reality.

Except that, within the established fantasy world of the Elder Scrolls, altmers are able to have black hair. Just not in ESO.

I don't think that works for Canon games like Skyrim, where my Altmer had black hair.

Implying ESO isn't canon.

I may be missing the joke here, but ESO is canon, just taking place in a period of time where practically no lore survives. So there's no reason that Altmer shouldn't have black hair if they did in "future" games. I want black hair on my ESO Altmer like I was able to have black hair on my Skyrim Altmer.
