For the exact same reason... it's a two part CC.. a knockback FOLLOWED by a stun. If the stun gets cancelled, the knockback provides no immunity.

Vamp drain is also like that because of the passive.

You are not granted CC immunity until the full duration of the CC has ended. Some people may be getting CC'd prior to the duration of the original CC ending, which may be causing some confusion. If you want the CC immunity applied to you before the end of the CC, you must use CC break.

So that sounds like ZOS is (or was in 2016) perfectly fine with double-CCing players with Javelin. (On the other hand, Gina's specific response to the double-Javelin CC issue is "We weren't able to reproduce that", so who knows.)

At any rate, none of that at all suggests they wouldn't regard the Draining Shot issue Thogard is reporting as a bug, because there's no reason that roll-dodging should prevent your own ability from stunning another player.

Also goddang that old thread is infuriating to read. Full of "we couldn't reproduce this" responses to bugs that still exist and are easily reproducible years later. I'm sure Gina didn't actually write those responses, but geez. Their internal testing environment must be really different from what we actually play somehow.

This is an easy bug to reproduce. I don't think they understood the problem.
