PTS Feedback and bug report for devs on Summerset World bosses

Last night we formed a proper vet trial level party (1 tank, 1-2 healers, 3-4 dps) in order to try out some world bosses and gathered the following feedback experiences for the devs:


White+Black griphon up north (Hataliana something): This is bugged. Whenever the people correctly avoided the dead center area where the bosses drop all their huge red aoe the fight suddenly RESETS !! Twice it reset while no one ran out of the area. Extremele annoying and buggy. Third time I decided to ask everyone to stay completely center and stand in the red aoe (die and chainrezz !!) in order for us to be able to kill them before they reset. Really needs to be fixed. If the area for reset covers the complete canyone area as is obviously intended it will be a real nice fight but people need space to move and avoid the huge red aoe.


Keelsplitter: Works but is a very annoying fight with the boss constantly jumping away between the 3 spots


Indrik boss center-south: Works as intended and a very nice fight. Really good job here


Bubble Sload with orbs (completely south on the beach): Strange stuff going on here. Constant teleporting when you wanna touch him. We didn't kill this one but we also didn't have proper group anymore and lacked dps so I can't give definitive feedback here. I assume we would need the dps to keep the orbs down in order to be able to bring his health down. I'll try it again later.

    I only saw three of them till now and tried them solo. Cant remember the names anymore, but i hope the descriptions are enough.
    The snake with wings is pretty boring and a long fight, there is not much to do or to think about, just lay down aoes after he changed to one of his three locations and git gud.
    The salamander boss, which has phases of small salamanders spawning from time to time needs some rework, since he resets if there is not enough damage. When i went to my trail dd build, i could kill him tough...
    The sea slug near alinor shouldnt be done solo. I could barely scratch him, since he doesnt take damage as long as the bubbles are around i think. It needs a lot of aoe to kill the bubbles and do damage to the boss, since the bubbles respawn pretty fast....
    Didnt fight the gryffins till now.

    your feedback reminds me of something I forgot to mention:


    As tank I felt pretty useless in the Keelsplitter and Sload fights and half in the other fights since part of their mechanic makes them so unresponsive to taunting. I feel like content is more and more designed to be a pure dps and dodge red race where tanks are rendered completely unuseful
