It's a game. To unwind / chill. Sweet lord!!!
That's only your opinion. You can do a lot of things to unwind/chill. Like painting or writing novels, or programming, or DIY stuff, riding a bicycle, hiking. But even though it is a hobby, you can feel pressure and be burnt out while doing so. I mean, there are a lot of people who enjoy their hobbies but also try to accomplish something greater, not just "chill out".
The game is just another hobby

Oh I get you, @NoTimeToWait each to their own. All my real hobbies probably seem quite strenuous to others as I'm into sport etc but I enjoy that.
But this talk of exhaustion / burn out / glad its over. I don't really understand. Surely a game should be fun? Words above are the opposite to me, especially in an event that rewards you for doing regular stuff like writs.
Other events i get , the weird special quests. I don't do them.as they aren't fun for me. This event is epic as I could do 6 writs like normal and profit.
The dudes doing 100 boxes a day no wonder they are fed up! To what end too. Cause and affect I guess.
Each to their own !!
Believe me, I know, but even 1 pt is better than 0 for this ungodly leveling nightmare.Actually doing writs gives very low experience compared to simply deconstructing high level glyphs or gear.

Another interesting twist would be one box per one type of daily during the event. This would get people doing some things they perhaps wouldn't normally do in order to get rewards, instead of the writ and repeat that it turned into for most.
