It took the full 2 weeks to obtain the motif (and that was with some swapping of pages).

Though the 1 and 1/2 hours daily of writ dailies will be nice to 'get back'.

They should consider changing it next year to per account vs per character.

Another interesting twist would be one box per one type of daily during the event. This would get people doing some things they perhaps wouldn't normally do in order to get rewards, instead of the writ and repeat that it turned into for most.

Only missed one day, averaged only 30 Jubilee Boxes per day just doing crafting writs, but I couldn’t be happier with the event, nor happier it’s done.

My crafting bag got a lot lighter, especially my level one mats, but my bank got heavier and I completed another 8 motifs... Just 5 more to go... Until they add more.

Now it’s time to concentrate on all of Master Writs that were piling up!

I managed to achieve all objectives that I set out for this event:
    - leveled characters #11-#14 from 10-50 and trained their skills using the experience bonus, just as I've done with #5 & #6 during the Witches' Festival and #7-#10 during the New Life Festival; will level #15 during the next Witches' one probably since I had just started her out and need to train riding till then.
    - completed Worm Cult from own drops, and got many more doubles, as well as hundreds of pages from other motifs, I will sell slowly over the next months when the prices rebound; the cheaper motif pages like Mercenary or Celestial I will learn on alts since it will boost their chances for master writs
    - turned in all the master writs gotten during the last ~4 months for 4800 vouchers to make room for the motifs in long term storage; I expect even more in the next months since I've expanded from 10 to 14 daily top tier writ crafters

Don't worry, next year's Anniversary Boxes will probably be shoved into the RNG Crates, instead of obtaining from doing dailies.

It was mostly my level 1 alchemy and enchanting mats, but RNG doesn’t like me in general... I opened several crafting crates that didn’t give shipping boxes. I had to run to the guild stores to buy mats a few times; wood especially.

I kind of regret not going further with it. I did all the writs of course, but only one or two did the fighters guild or undaunted challenges. didn't touch cyrodil. But with a full time job, and crafting that takes a bit over an hour for 8 characters, it doesn't leave much time.

Biggest "mistake" I made was focusing on getting my healer Spell Power and Worm cult. Should have put that off til after the event but oh well. Got 4 of the first and 6 (counting two blue rings) of the second. Oh, and the earthgore shoulders.

There is one thing the anniversary event taught me and that was doing the daily crafting writs netted exp for the skill. This must have been added since the last time I played, so my stamBlade will continue doing the Enchanting writ. She's at 47 now, and if memory serves, they take soooooooooooooooooooooo long to do.

I'll also continue to do Spencer's board (though I'll be cheating to cancel out and get the anniversary ring quest) because I'm still hitting up for the Abah's Watch motifs. I rather enjoy that style. Now, if only I'd stop getting the boots all the time, I'd be done even with this.

Yes, yes, I know, but I'd like to keep my gold in my bank, not your bank. ;)

Yes, yes, I know, but I'd like to keep my gold in my bank, not your bank. ;)

Actually doing writs gives very low experience compared to simply deconstructing high level glyphs or gear. When I want to level crafting I simply feed trash to the respective char through the bank. I've created a character at the start of the event, and fed her the green glyphs gotten by the other crafters, which are level 50 and top tier, as well as the white ones that drop and she got to 50 right at the end. So a couple of weeks just breaking glyphs will get you there. Same goes for woodworking, blacksmith and clothier, but those are even faster, with the caveat that if you want to also recover the material, the characters that deconstruct need to be at 50 already, otherwise will be lost. The game actually encourages you to make crafting alts since writs give intricate items and green glyphs even at top tier.

That's only your opinion. You can do a lot of things to unwind/chill. Like painting or writing novels, or programming, or DIY stuff, riding a bicycle, hiking. But even though it is a hobby, you can feel pressure and be burnt out while doing so. I mean, there are a lot of people who enjoy their hobbies but also try to accomplish something greater, not just "chill out".

The game is just another hobby
