It happens when I have forward camps and know good places for them. Or a good place to hide and ressurect people after. It also happend when the group leader was a hopeless noob and we lost because of his actions. And it may happen when i see a ball group which I don't want to feed.

Usually my group is formed by me, me and myself. When something goes wrong, I always leave my group.

I don't stealth.I break away from the group, jump outside the keep, run around it looking for enemies away from their groups and fight/kill them till I drop dead or my alliance/team comes back.

LOL! Why is abandoning a group considered an AD thing? Don't people in all factions do it?

Because AD has an unusual number of wood elf nightblades. There's even an easy test for it. Level a class with low mobility; I recommend mag dk. Head into the below lvl 50 campaign, find hoard of nightblades in stealth in front of the bridge. Charge into battle expecting back-up since its 4 to 1 odds and the keep isn't under attack. Report back with result.

I have this sorc friend who I always duo with. And in every fight he positions himself farther away from the enemies than me and when were faced with overwhelming odds he just streaks away and I die.

Not hating on him though, he's easily one of the best magsorcs on EU and he always resses me afterwards

. We have this running joke that he's immortal, which he very nearly is.

I honestly despise when a member of the team runs off unless i call to drop a camp. Its a video game - you should have MORE courage than youd ever have in real life - hold your ground and die with your comrades FFS

Depends on the situation. If I think I could somehow be useful by staying alive while everyone else dies, sure, but I'm not gonna run away just because I don't wanna die. If anything, it might be more useful to sacrifice yourself to give your allies a tiny bit of extra time to fall back/regroup :P

Since barely 1% of the population fight on the opposite side of the map away from their keeps

- AD (On the Aleswell - Bleaks - Chalman route)
- DC (On the Brk - Sej - Alessia route)
- EP (On the Ash - Nikel - Roe route)

Nobody quite understand what it means to run away to get a camp to avoid a 10 minutes horse simulator.

It's about that long ass boring ride to get back to where I just was. Wtf. "Oh no! Another death on my record! What am to do!? Who flipping cares about dying, most folks I play with hate the ride, not death.
