I really only do BG's for a while now. but usually i die with the team and try to take out as many as as can if i see it going south. of course if i see the team not dying but getting overwhelmed i try to start the move to better ground. but specifically last night I was on a team with 3 people we were all medium armor so we had no tank or healers and one was under 160 cp so he didnt really know what was going on, he had zero buffs he was activating before the fights and one immediately sprinted to a far corner and went stealth away from the group and the last one i literally thought was afk because every time i died they were sitting not moving at spawn (until i looked at score and they were o kills and 6 deaths)

the other teams i were not premades because i had been playing with them throughout the night but they were decent players and they stayed in a group and had at lead one healer a team and were heavy armor dks and wardens. i tried to stay with the new guy but he would just run into all 8 of them brawling and insta die, i don't think i had ever purposely left someone to die, but there just was ZERO thinking going on in this group and i would watch them go solo into the swarm and I would pick off the stragglers.

To go get resources. Hide, set up forward camp, or rezz dead pals. Sometimes one dead guy can hold up five enemies without even fighting them. You can also counter-flip a keep by rezzing a few good players inside and being smart.

Sometimes its better to stand and die for the bloodport. I usually don't group with large numbers, mostly duo or solo. I'm not leaving my wingman lol. So, my answer relates more to "Look out! Zerg!" and streaking to safety etc.

I have more fun surviving, hearing that everyone else bloodported somewhere, and going surprise kamikaze on the enemy instead of peeling my ghost off the zerg steamroller.

It happens sometimes, but I rezz people afterwards so we don't have to waste time running back. I only do this if we are severely outnumbered.

Most of the time, I head straight towards 1000 enemies (mostly less, but like the idea) at times, my group suddenly disappear without me knowing. Till to late, in truth more for me.

I know, right? Our group will be in the vanguard, fully knowing we don't have enough people to completely wipe the incoming forces (barring the possibility they're complete nubs) praying that enough of our faction sees us pushing and rallies behind/around us and gets siege going etc.

Easiest way to be killed: "surely some of these AD hanging around in stealth on the wall will jump in..."

Edit: to answer the poll, I said rarely because sometimes you need to get out and set up a camp. Because I'm a magplar healer though, most of the time I succumb to the same push that wiped most of the group because what is even maneuverability, even with mist form.

Lol this. You don't even have to be a tank to that to happen.

But bailing out to get a camp up while a couple of people distract the enemy is a fair tactic.

This got me.....there indeed are players who will tell you they didn't die and 'won' fight as they run away. The prostrat hash tag is the icing on the cake.

Yes. 10:0 is simply better score than 10:1, and that 10 dead are well aware of the difference.

Though I am usually not grouped with whoever happens to be defending too and bail out of overrun keep when solo defending as well.

    No of course not :/

I fight until the end or commit suicide. I'd stick to the group and rather die then be seperated for to long. But if they tend to horseback back to the place we are fighting quick I might hide a bit until they are back. But if they rather go attack another target i just commit suicide and spawn where the majority of the group is (mostly crown's location)

The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

In a raid group I fight it out to the end, but if not in a raid group, I frankly bail at the first sign of trouble. I main AD at the moment so I have to play in accordance with the culture of my people.

Never when I'm grouped up or running with my guild. Sometimes, when I'm solo, I'll roll off the back of a keep if it's 50:1 with no hope. I'd prefer the enemy to earn their AP from killing me, not get it for free by rolling over me with massive numbers.

I have disengaged before yes - not to leave the group but to hide and Rez the group if its a clear wipe coming.

Generally i'll go down with the ship, but there are times its wiser to be a sneak.

No, I stand and fight and often hold them until my group can reform and re-engage. I've often been the line which the enemy can't manage to cross in there push. Especially if you give me a choke point to trap them at.

I only run to set up a forward camp. If we are getting wiped though and it's clear that a camp won't help, I'll go die at a resource because I'm spiteful and don't want to give the enemy another kill.
