Anniversary Event: SO MUCH GOLD MADE

I have found that I have made gold faster through this event than any other source that I have seen (including in the realm of solo IC farming, flipping items on the market)

It helps to settle the cost of pots for raiding at least :')

Edit: And yes, I know that it makes the pockets lighter for those that purchase the motifs, but the event is reducing the overall price of motifs drastically. On the PC platforms it is especially notable, because of the assistance of addons that craft the goods for writs, and show the locations of quests, etc.

I’ve barely tried (i.e. doing as few as 10-30 boxes per day, skipping some days) and I’ve made almost 2 million. Some people must be raking in insane amounts.

I have averaged around 100-150 boxes a day

I've gained around 1mill gold. got most my motif achivs near completed. Now my guild bank is 300/500 full of motifs of all kinds just sitting there waiting for a bright future to be turned into spell power pots for raiding xD

The time people put in this game in general astounds me. But 100's of boxes daily is crazy. Fair play.

Writs man. 14 x 6 is 84 boxes in like 90 minutes.

Anyway, I'm at like 4.3 mil more than I was before it. Stuck at 600k for the past 6 or so months. Now about to hit 5 mil. Feelsgoodman.

1 Tel Var = 2 gold on EU.
If you can solo farm IC district bosses with all flags owned you can make 300.000 Tel Var in an hour.
That's 600.000 gold an hour.

And that is guaranteed income all days of the year IF (and that is a big if) you can have it for yourself and all districts are owned by your faction.

This is not even taking into account the IC event where Tel Var gains are doubled - not that you'd be able to farm alone there; IC becomes a mini version of Cyrodiil during that event.

In an hour you can make 60 Anniversary Boxes doing daily writs on 10 chars - but that is only once per day.
After that it drops to something like 20-30 boxes an hour if you are really effective in Cyrodiil.
Otherwise it will be more like 10-15 if you are not doing daily quests in Cyrodiil.

In order for these different numerical values of boxes to have 600.000 gold of worth in motifs and materials you need to be praised by RNGesus, you need a ring with 1000 protection versus being ZOSed and the moons Secunda and Masser need to be aligned while there's a tripple rainbow all over the sky.

I think you will have more luck getting the districts for yourself - especially if you can play during the night.

Hmmm, i must be doing it wrong since i hadnt made much gold at all.
Might need to stop giving my doubles to friends that need them.

First week i only did what i always do all writs on my main and then whatever i feel like doing.

Then i started doimg all writs on 8 characters and then some regular dailies untill its time for bed.
So its been work -> eso chores -> sleep..... insanity when think about it haha

I started this event with 800k, I now have 100k on my main.

I do on the other hand have every motif except Militant Ordinator completed.

I don't gank. I do my quests and kill others in the process. Once my quests are done (and my wife's of course), we move on

What server are you on? Sales are so brisk on PC/EU that sometimes I can't even get out of the bank before something sells.

I sold everything from day 1. Flew out of the store. Since Sunday just been learning them all. Definitely done it the right way around. Nothing is selling now, and anything I'm missing I'll be able to buy for cheap if I so desire.

Im undercutting pretty much any chapter i find to avoid clogging up my inventory, also completed like 10 sets of motifs

Spent all my gold on unknown motifs. Learned all but Militant Ordinator. Now I have 70k saved it is just a small step ahead for buying all pages of it.

I also had to sell all my valuable items - golden tempers, perfect roe... I even sold things like alkahest and Ta rune to merchants to get motifs. Much gold made on the event? Not in my case.

I feel quite different from the most of the players here who made millions during this event. I have about 250k gold on my main char which is a crafter.

I did writs on two chars (main and alt) every day (without buying any mats) and recently have starting doing these on the 3rd and last char I have. For me it doing these dailies on 3 chars is quite boring, even though it really increases the odds of getting motifs and stuff that might sell. But the sales don't go so well and I tend to learn most of the motifs I get.

I don't complain, because for me this game is great as long it is fun and not a chore. I just wanted to give a different feedback than hey I made X millions. For me this event helped me get a lot of crafting blueprints that felt out of reach, also some motifs at half the price or less.

If I would have 1M gold or even 500k, I would spent it on furnishing blueprints, and what's left on motifs that I like.

The event is a great opportunity to make a serious amount of gold, if you follow market habits and keep and eye on what kind of items are being bought constantly.
I admit I made more gold than I normally do outside of the event, but none of that gold was earned via selling motifs.
In general I don't get the point for selling motifs now with super cheap price, meanwhile by being patient and just waiting for a couple of months those prices will go up again. They maybe never reach original price, but after some time - sooner or later - prices will get higher again. And then I will sell all dublicates away.

Averaging 10-12 boxes a weekday and upwards of 30 on weekends and I've barely scratched a couple hundred grand.

I'm doing both. I set a goal for what I wanted to see in the bank and also what I wanted to set aside for later. I hit the bank goal a few days ago and now I'm squirreling away motifs for the future. And whilst all that is going on, have gotten tons of crafting material. I love this event.
