The putting "oh its just cosmetic" weapon packs in the crown store that have effects like the moondancer glow on them after they broke that effect from working in game on moondancer/alkosh.
Is the game like days away from going under without a desperate money grab or something? Because this is getting ridiculous and I'm about done.
That same urge that makes me want to complete a look for a character and gets me to actually buy this from the store or a pack of crates... that urge has a limit and if I cannot feel like I'm satisfying that urge, then I move on. As in, move on from the game and put it out of my mind and go find a game where those things can be accomplished.

First picture has a lot of empty space. I am guessing this is a bug in the size.
Second picture is the same logout confirmation screen just with added info about crown store items. That is a very odd place to put it since they're likely just logging out to stay out or switch characters. Could produce an app with pop-up flash sales and credits you can earn for the Crown Store by interacting through the app on the forums, in official polls, etc. Maybe even get notifications of guild messages, completion of learning a crafting trait, when you are eligible for the new daily log-in reward, etc.
Actually, some of the latter things I may like. I always forget when traits are done researching on alts. I don't want to miss the daily login rewards also if they are handled like riding training. They would be better handled like dailies and reset at a certain time of night.0 -

But constantly reminding me about the timer when I log off is a really quick way for me to get grouchy about playing/not playing, which I assume is the intent, like "if I dont play, In missing out, ugh".
Admittedly, I'm probably missing out on some crown pots, but still.
That just means there wouldn't be a stacking thing like sending in a Publisher's Clearing House entry form repeatedly to still be considered for the "Big Drawing". It just means any day the login reward will be completely random with no consideration for past or future days.
You definitely will have the chance of missing out on something good if they have anything good.
I, personally, will likely be trashing a lot of crown store consumables I won't be using.0 -

✭✭The new crown store ad is incredibly annoying. I grudgingly accept the one we have on the live servers, but the new and oversized version on PTS is really killing any desire to use the crown store for me.
We get pushed more and more towards the crown store with every major update and new system.

That's an option but my honest opinion is this...it needs to only be in the crown store UI.
Now to your point about the log on screen, I'd suggest that the character selection screen "could" be where the adds are displayed as Consoles don't have the logon screen.
Not in the game as a pop-up tho at any point or time
