Yeah, Im getting annoyed about it, happens far to often. Hope, its only to promote the New Things the PTS brings,

I don’t mind the big ads. I can read them without my glasses. But, I’m old and blind...

It would be really nice if this got toned down significantly. There's zero reason for every player to be forced to dismiss the featured crown store offerings (that they probably either already bought, or otherwise don't care about for the 100th time) every single time they switch characters.

I like that there is now a way to open this 'Announcements' UI voluntarily but it shouldn't be such an intrusive feature.

You simply push a key and it goes away, stress not.

I only saw the big ads when I clicked Announcements, but OMG that "Next Rewards" thing when logging out is annoying!

@VaranisArano when you say next rewards do you mean the daily log in rewards? If so does it have set rewards each day?

It's not active yet. If you click the button you'll only get an empty window for January stating that you should check back later.

Could produce an app with pop-up flash sales and credits you can earn for the Crown Store by interacting through the app on the forums, in official polls, etc. Maybe even get notifications of guild messages, completion of learning a crafting trait, when you are eligible for the new daily log-in reward, etc.

I'm talking about that picture in the After Logging Out. I didnt see any partculars, since its not active yet.

But constantly reminding me about the timer when I log off is a really quick way for me to get grouchy about playing/not playing, which I assume is the intent, like "if I dont play, In missing out, ugh".

Admittedly, I'm probably missing out on some crown pots, but still.

Thanks. Gina said in another thread these log-in rewards would just be random and not a tactic to encourage consecutive daily log-ins. However that message makes me wonder if they'll have monthly based items which you can get (which whilst not directly demanding consecutive log-ins encourages it a lot).

I like the logout menu because ideally it would show your daily reward if you forgot about it. I think the default crown store showcase that currently appears on live could be revamped but the giant ad on pts should definitely be toned down.

I think it could be cool though if they developed the concept further so that your first log in of the day showed updated news, guild messages, daily rewards, new mail, etc.

However, I can easily see this turning into a giant crown store add with some small functionality built around it. I'd rather see the crown store only make up a small portion of the window with the rest dedicated to actual functionality and updates that players might want to see when they log on every day.

I think it has the potential to be a interesting resource for players logging on for the first time each day however it could also just be really annoying if it reaches live in its current state.

Adds should only be present for special offers and non-subscribers.
