I realize there is a problem, but some people have been able to get access to Summerset. I believe there could be two separate issues. I seem to recall the same problem with clockwork city PTS people being unable to access it until they completed the crownstore starter quest.

Yeah, if that is the case, it would need to be addressed, as currently, you'll get booted to the base game, when you try to roll up a template.

I have... not sure if it's complete on the PTS, or if I ran it after the the current PTS copy ran, though.

Someone confirmed that it's not available on the PTS, and further that Vanus Galerion is in the starter towns providing this quest and the quest he gives sadly does not grant access.

Can confirm that pre-ordering seems to immediately unlock it. I don't normally pre-order right away, so I just was going to wait until before the PC release to do it. Logged in after getting my e-mail, couldn't travel to Summerset. Tried doing the starter quest again, and still couldn't get in. Decided to go ahead and pre-order and see if that unlocked it after seeing you guys mention it here. Re-logged after pre-ordering and could immediately travel to Summerset.

Same. MY account did the BETA on morrowind so she supposedly didnt need an invite but her account tries to go to the store to buy it. MY fiance's account got an invite and that account has NO issues with summerset. neither account has done the prequest.

@Snowfaeriewings did your fiance digitally preorder summerset? Seems to be a trending thing that locked out people haven't.

Same here guys; I participated in the Morrowind beta as well and it shows the content as locked off to me...I had submitted a ticket with support prior to seeing this thread; should have thought to check the forums first lol. I’m just comforted now knowing I’m not alone with this. Gina’s on the case and will get us a fix. Thanks @ZOS_GinaBruno!

For what it's worth, I had the same issue and I had not yet pre purchased Summerset. Others I know were able to access the content without pre ordering. Buying the chapter fixed the issue for me. Not sure if this was intended, as I was able to participate in all of the Morrowind Beta without buying the chapter first. So basically, if you have PTS access and havent purchased Summerset, pre ordering may fix the issue.

I already spent $90 on my pre-order, I'm not gonna spend $30 more just to get PTS access, haha. I'm sure ZOS will get it sorted out soon enough.

hell, i can't even log into the goddamned client.

unknown i.p. yadda yadda, and it won't take the new code they sent for the 'unknown i.p.' i've been playing from for the last four years.

not an auspicious start for this iteration.

Did you copy paste the new code in? I had the "no access" thing too, and it took a few minutes for the email about a "login attempt from a new computer" to show up. When it did, I copy pasted and noticed I had copied a space at the end. I deleted the extra space before submitting and it worked first try. While waiting for the email I did some troubleshooting by exiting PTS, launching live but only to character select, then exiting live and returning to PTS in case it needed to register something about my account.

It still needed the code, but that worked as noted above. Probably my log out/in had nothing to do with it working, I'm just reporting the steps I took that ended in success.

I also can't access Summerset even though I had access to Morrowind beta.
Can get into the game and create a character and play the base game but anything requiring purchase of Summerset doesn't work.
I don't think we have to pre purchase to use PTS?

really no idea, for sure. but hopefully this helps someone else down the line.

I'm glad it worked for you. I guess I should have mentioned I play in Windowed Full Screen and access my email on the other monitor so I didn't alt-tab, if that's a factor, just moved my cursor over to the right. Though I know ESO gets slightly affected by my doing that, as its sound cuts out any time I click outside the "window."

My other account that was not in Morrowind closed beta but received a Summerset invite today can accept the Summerset quest without completing this prologue quest. I can also travel to Summerset without picking up any quest.

Sounds like the problem is directly tied to the attempt by ZOS to include Morrowind participants in the beta without applying a separate Summerset code.

This is probably it, makes sense.

Speaking with several guilds this is the pattern without fail:

• Members who participated in Morrowind last year that did not pre-order were unable to access Summerset

• Members who participated in Morrowind last year that did pre-order were able to access Summerset (members who previously could not access Summerset that then pre-ordered were instantly able to access Summerset)

• Members who did not participate in Morrowind last year that did or did not pre-order but received a beta code were able to access Summerset.

My suggestion to ZOS next chapter; send the code to everyone you intend to include in the beta.

My apologies for suggesting previously that it might have something to do with doing the prologue quest, I know I offended some of you with that.

Can confirm that even though purchase greyed out in Crown Store, I was able to find Vanus in Vulkhel Guard, but then it told me to upgrade for the next quest.

Count me in the "can't access" group. I've been on PTS religiously and was invited (and tested) the Morrowind beta so according to what's been put out regarding invites I should have gotten one. Hoping the fix works, I can hardly wait to start!

Same, I was in the original beta and Morrowind beta.

I haven't pre-ordered Summerset yet (I intend to, but husband just changed jobs, different pay dates, funds a bit tight until he gets his first paycheque!)

Very disappointed that I am unable to test jewelrycrafting and report back to my guild.
