@Lord-Otto
You get 5% increase to all damage by using a 2h sword, you still can weave (a little bit less dame tough) and beside sorcs every class has a better spammable the fire clench. Surprise attack and strife (was the english name strife?) for magblades, templar have jabs, warden have birds and dks use whip. You can keep your resto, but again: its a 8%more single target damage and better weaving against 5% overall damage, at min 200 more spelldamage, far better stamina sustain and a skill, which provides a hot, snare removal and immunity.
then ask M-A-G-M-A how he does it with forward momentum
or blobsky on his magblade.
there are already several players doing it, so it cant be that much of a stamina burden, especially when your stamina sustain gets buffed by using a 2h.
M-A-G-M-A didnt built for it, he uses lich and wizards riposte, plus skorial. together with witchmothers potent brew. he actually has zero stam sustain and casts FM a lot. you dont have to build for it, it is easy sustainable.
he probably dies less than you, since he doesnt come here to complain about everything, that killed him

If you are in a situation where you are getting hit with 10 per second, either the snare isn't going to be a problem in very short order (because you'll be dead, facing that number of opponents) or your group needs to step up their tactics.

i mainly get it during solo play, but yes, it does happen during zerg attacking me, just not as often.
it is mainly during solo 1 v 1 that i am getting hit like that.
thats why i said, that you maybe need to think out of the box. some famous theorycrafters already did. there are plenty of dual wield magwardens, 2h magblades and there are also dual wield magsorc builds. for dk and templar dual wield, sword and shield and 2h are a valid choice since months. but also the three first mentioned builds will all work with 2h weapons.
