and the last point, with summerset there will be a magicka skill with major velocity and sprint cost reduction.
also is 2h a very good choice for magicka setups with summerset, since we get full set boni, same damage passives as dual wield and a huge stamina sustain passive, when we kill something. this again makes forward momentum an easy to get, accessible and easy to use skill.

destro spammables is only needed on one magicka class, magsorc and this class already has major expedition and streak.
every other class isnt tied to a destro.

But fact of the matter is that magicka has to make a sizable sacrifice, whereas stamina doesn't. Imbalanced, bad design.

2h is the weapon with the highest base damage, counting as two items i see many magicka toons using it as soon as summerset if available. as said, its a cheap snare removal and immunity, a decent heal over time, you get same damage passives as dual wield and a huge unique stamregen buff. i cant think of any magclass beside sorcs to not use use a 2h weapon.
so i dont see much sacrificing in here....

You can certainly argue that should be changed with the introduction of Battlegrounds, but I think ZOS' reasoning is pretty clear. PVP was intended to be a group activity and the skills are designed and divided accordingly.

Purge works fine in large group play, which shockingly enough, is exactly where it was intended be used.
So why not going for those skills then instead of complaining in here?
