Plus, the DC is already pretty much that option. Their whole stated goal is to restore the Empire, and the Empire has had quite a few Breton Emperors throughout its history, so... it really is a return to the status quo.

Of the three alliances, the only one that could lead to a restored Cyrodiilic empire is the DC:

- The Dominion would just absorb the conquered provinces into itself, to rule them all from Summerset... at most it could become something similar to the Ayleid empire; most definitely not something an imperial Cyrod would want.

- The Pact doesn't care at all about the empire and would most likely just dismantle it for good.

Ayleids enslaved , the AD stands for equality. A bit of a difference.

AD wants everyone who isnt an elf or khajiit to be a 2nd class citizen at best

And no, a lot of Altmers still consider other races to be 2nd class citizens but it's according to those Altmers alone. According to Queen Aryenn and the leaders of the Dominion, everyone is equal. Dominion's policies reflect that.

Everyone is equal, that is why queen send her troops to eat children of other nations. Everyone is equal, that is for sure - equally regarded as sub life form compared to how they see them. Pitiful.
