With jewellery being changeable and 2h being counted as two pieces and a constant uptime on major brutality

    Nope.

If you are running 2h you are running Rally or Forward Momentum, in which case you already have brutality

In PVE you have pots giving you the buff.

    Basically it's pointless.

major brutality is a crazy easy buff to manage, if you cant keep a skill in your rotation that gives this buff or use a pot on cool down, you need to work on that.

ok, alternately, what are some sets that are going to see some more use now that trait change and 2hs are buffed?

i think monster sets are going to be used on more healers now, likesentinel of rkugamz or more earth gore in pve, that is the biggest difference to me, that master resto is no longer going to bis for healers.

Agility one piece on Swords is big, 1400 stam for one weapon, would be big if you are running a back bar proc set.

Elf Bane is gonna be BIS for DK's
You buff Zaan, buff your own sustain with longer dots, and you don't need to use a single heavy piece to do it with a Staff, and you also get to make use of all arcane jewellery

question, for a bleed build would I need a 2h axe? do 2h bleeds overwrite dw bleeds?

Oooh, I never thought about that. It's just gonna be a pain adjusting rotation to fit it.

Twin Blade and Blunt Bleed is a seperate instance to Heavy Weapon Bleed. They can both be applied to a target at one.

So yeah, if you want bleeds, 2h axe is a good way to go

what if you need to have the other 3 set pieces to have the weapon count as 2 set pieces? this owuld stop what you are talking about.

Bow/Bow Nightblade could use Dreugh King Slayer and Bow/Bow Templar could use Dreugh King Slayer.

Every other build has easy access.

I only use Dreugh King when I’m runnIng a stam toon through dungeons for shards and feel too lazy to keep up major brutality and expedition with skills. You can really fly through delves that way.

I doubt it will end up like that.

Given that there are a number of instances where people have used dual weild or sword and board for a 2 piece buff in the past, I don't see that sort of caveat being added in.

Willpower Staves and Agility 2h's will be really strong options come next patch.

Yep. My guild is already tweaking our builds. More than likely we're ditching the one piece staves for Earthgore.

If you want bleeds, then a werewolf in blooddrinker is probably the best route.

Sure, if you want the biggest bleeds possible, that is the way to go, but that wasn't the question.
