Thing is - if you run a Heavy Armour stamBlade in PvP (which a lot of People do. with Troll King on top) a class burst heal that triggers the shadow passives isn't exactly healthy design. That way you don't even need to think between Rally and FM. It's FM all the way. Will need to see how the other changes come along.
Keep in mind it'll be halfed in PvP, so it'll be 16.5% of max health. So the heal will be small on your average 25k health heavy armor build. Plus it will cost Magica, so you won't have a great amount of casts. And you give e up the ability to escape and reset fights as well as bonus stealth damage etc.
I honestly see this as a pve only skill, mainly aimed at tanks. Warden, DKs and sorcs already have a health scaling self heal, just Templars that won't now.
Sure do love how instead of making each class distinct, ZOS is just homogenizing them further
Unless they were unhappy with how easy it was to sustain with the lower cost one.BigBadVolk wrote: »To be fair even as a MagBlade Strife being a heal and damage skill with less cost that Force Pulse was a little silly.Drachenfier wrote: »That's cool and all, but these two changes make no sense:
Strife and its morphs have had their costs increased to be in-line with the cost of Force Pulse.
Different abilities are different?
Twisting Path has had its damage nerfed slightly.
Why? It's a stationary conal AOE that doesn't do near as much damage as mobile pbaoe's like Hurricane.
Some headscratchers in there.
ye but instead of incriesing one skill cost, they could just lower the other spammable costs

PLEASE tell me this is an April Fools joke.
How can you take away stealth from the only stealth class?

Sooo... what do you think of the nerf to BoL?

I know we all want buffs not nerfs but if we only ever take the good things the games power creep will spiral out of control.
@themaddaedra other skill-based percentage heals can crit in the current patch (green dragon blood, polar wind, reapers mark, to name a few) so I’d assume this is the same.

NBs want both. NBs get more buffs though and not sufficient. We need cloak immediately right now.
@OdinForge they kept the minor protection part that's crazy. The morph dark cloak no longer provides invisibility, it's an instant heal for 32% of max HP + minor protection.
