It is definitely a PVE tanking thing.

Thing is - if you run a Heavy Armour stamBlade in PvP (which a lot of People do. with Troll King on top) a class burst heal that triggers the shadow passives isn't exactly healthy design. That way you don't even need to think between Rally and FM. It's FM all the way. Will need to see how the other changes come along.

Keep in mind it'll be halfed in PvP, so it'll be 16.5% of max health. So the heal will be small on your average 25k health heavy armor build. Plus it will cost Magica, so you won't have a great amount of casts. And you give e up the ability to escape and reset fights as well as bonus stealth damage etc.

It really depends on the magicka cost. With your numbers that would equal a 4K burst heal non-crit and not considering CP. That's not bad if the cost is manageable.

Where have you been for the past 4 years?

We, the players, were the ones who decided a long time ago that we wanted to do all 3 roles with all classes and we did set and ability kludges to make it work.

All that's happening is that ZOS is finally catching up and helping us do it.

That's cool and all, but these two changes make no sense:

Strife and its morphs have had their costs increased to be in-line with the cost of Force Pulse.

    Different abilities are different?

Twisting Path has had its damage nerfed slightly.

Why? It's a stationary conal AOE that doesn't do near as much damage as mobile pbaoe's like Hurricane.

    Some headscratchers in there.
To be fair even as a MagBlade Strife being a heal and damage skill with less cost that Force Pulse was a little silly.

ye but instead of incriesing one skill cost, they could just lower the other spammable costs
Unless they were unhappy with how easy it was to sustain with the lower cost one.

I know we all want buffs not nerfs but if we only ever take the good things the games power creep will spiral out of control.

Exactly and also expecting further nerf adjustments during TC which will just make the morph as useless as Sorc pet heals . Wish I could be excited for this change but my gut tells me no . Just like the change to a sacrifice heal never became a popular pvp morph . Class does not need restructuring . Don't even get me started on Templar changes ...

Alcast writes it lost the stealth. It would be absurd if you could cloak for 33% of max health on top of the stealth.

So nb is now the dragon knight?

I don't think it can crit as it's a flat percentage. Percentages don't crit do they?

And this is a very good change imo, as a person who played NB for long enough.

I am liking the news of this change so much right now, I am actually leveling cloak now. It’s sat at base rank 3 for years. It’s now worth using on my tankblade. I lost count on how many times I complained about not having a burst heal, this change is very good.

I understand that, but still sustain is still not that ez with mnb ( at least with bluefood, with the new golden its ez true) its just we go back homestead where it doesnt really worth running funnel over force pulse cause same price (at least thats how I interpret it now) I mean if they increase its cost at least heal more than one person or adjust its damage otherwise it will fall into oblivion again in endgame pve (especially if we count in asylum destro staff)

This change is awesome. My NB tank really needed a burst heal and putting the option on a morph that many pvper's will still use the other of in cyrodiil will keep it from being OP.

If they want a cloak and a heal for basically one third of their hp on top if it, they can *** off :)

So.....the slowest class with the longest animations has now lost it's only stun from deep fissure, not to mention wardens don't have an execute either.

So they decide to buff their healing and ult regeneration even more which is where they were really overpowered.

So now wardens will be even harder to kill, but at least they won't be able to kill you anymore. Interesting, are the dev's even playing the same game we are?
